I’ve used firebug and chrome and Visual Studio for JS debug.

Each tool has its own JS DOM. So for browser compatibility, sometime I need to use all of them to do test.

Mauro: Many things on the web are not complete but many, like this article, are very informative. Perhaps this is an opportunity to cross-reference this useful article with some experiences of Opera.

I really hate when blogs do a comparison of whatever with browsers and they don’t include Opera, WHY? In case you don’t know Opera also has it’s own debugging tool, it’s called Dragonfly.
This post is not complete until a full comparison of all debugging tools are made.

Chrome Developer Tools is [almost] same as Safari’s Web Inspector – based from webkit.
Why don’t you review about that?

I like Chrome for it’s speed and beautiful CSS rendering, but it’s SO much easier using the built-in Web Inspector in Safari. I find Chrome’s to be too buggy, specifically when using Control-Click > Inspect Element.

Xyle Scope been severely broken since Safari 4 war released.

…Clicking on a region in the Browser Panel no longer updates any of the DOM views to correctley show the selected region in DOM. Only the CSS/Cascade panels are updated.

My emails to Culture Code go un-answered. Shame this used to be the best CSS debugger bar none.
