This site features an amazing full screen illustration of an octopus at the ocean sketching both on paper and on a tablet. It sounds ridiculous but the execution is stunning. The use of color and lighting effects is truly masterful.

A nice looking grid-based portfolio that changes color every time you refresh the page. The hover effects drop the color overlay and show the artwork in its true form. A nice effect that really brings focus to where the mouse is.

This site reminds of the first hints of minimalism in the 90s. I like the bold contrast and variation between the thick and thin lines. The modular format is interesting too and can be rearranged to your preferences.

One Page Wonders is a really unique looking web design gallery showcasing single page sites. The treatment of the page previews is really nice: I love the large vertical thumbnails and the ticket theme.
