A themeforest page for a Paradise Proffesional xHTML Template. Themeforest is a good looking site and this particular entry effectively uses a single image to get across the vital stats of their template. I like the custom design of the RSS, Twitter, and Facebook links.

Taking a different approach to iBooks, and although forgoing the digital bookcase idea, Kindle for the iPad still manages to make reading look appealing! A tablet reading App lives or dies by its interface, but fortunately Kindle has an effortlessly intuitive and gorgeous one!

A fun App for changing your voice into a more humorous one! The icon design is good and the cartoon style theme works well throughout. The use of tapes is nice touch, but the blue curtain background does seem a little out of place.

Beats combines a BPM counter with an advanced DJ metronome and a stunning interface. The digital feel works really well and perfectly suits this type of App! The button and icon design is great and instantly makes you want to get involved!

I\'m in two minds about this site. I like the simplistic header and the contrasting use of orange against the white of the background, but the central slideshow doesn\'t quite fit with the overall design. Having a showcase of your company\'s portfolio is an effective way to hold a visitors attention but in this example it almost stands out too much!

Aperture 3\'s interface is super slick and does an incredible job of organising its vast array of powerful tools and features. I particularly like the ability to use fullscreen editing, it can make all the difference!

A simple design for a business card. I like the light blue colour used and the use of white for the text and design elements. It\'s interesting to note the integration of well known symbols.

Now that\'s how to keep things simple but still make an impact! Inverted examples of a letter based logo, the idea behind which could be more basic. The reversed \'R\' against the \'D\' has been made into a recognisable logo through the use of consistent design and commitment to an idea.

A bold engaging site for a software company. The use of colour and contrasting typefaces help to draw in your attention. The textured background is subtle but effective.

A brilliantly simple calculator interface from the wonderful people at Tapbots. The elegant design on the surface conceals a wealth of complexity and intelligence beneath. The subtle use of colour is very effective and the use of space overall is great!

Here we have a design that is about as creative and artistic as a business card can get! The central design elements are excellent and the sheer uniqueness of this card allows me to forgive the slightly awkward typeface.

An extremely stylish portfolio site. It exemplifies great use of space and a neutral palette. Of particular note is the use of a large portrait as the focal point, something which I find really works!

A brilliant and stylish art studio for your iPad. I like the way it keeps the palette neutral to allow your own masterpieces to shine! The intuitive menus and icons make Layers a beautiful way to paint in the virtual world.

The handmade paper look of this site works well with the use of a custom typeface. I like the torn paper effect and use of light blue and pink to highlight the key headings. I also find the use of punctuation in the logo helps to make the company name recognisable.

Evernote for iPad has a brilliantly intuitive and effortlessly beautiful interface. The use of thumbnail pictures throughout brings colour and life to the App and the attention to detail is great! I particularly like the way your notes are stacked - keeping you in touch with the way things used to be remembered...

An iPad App that\'s designed around having a beautiful interface! The huge clock numbers look great and the simple layout works very well. The black and white does work reasonably well but could use a colour accent.

A very stylish site that effectively showcases the photography and design of its owner. I especially like the designer\'s personal logo.

A relatively new Twitter client that uses white on black throughout. I really like the use of a home screen with nine icons but something about the detail of the icons doesn\'t work for me. The Twitter stream looks good in black and white but there could be more space in the layout.
