Here we have a great site for a web design and development collective based in Cincinnati. I really like the use of typography and the monochrome look they've achieved here. The layout is different, but works for the most part.

A simple yet detailed circular player that works well with the HTML5 audio tag. I really like the dark theme and the incredibly subtle 'play' icon.

A great interface design for an iPhone app that takes a very different approach to the one taken by the majority. I like the focus on typography and texture, the custom buttons and unique styling help this app to stand out.

A strong application icon that works as a front for a personal app. I like the restrained design, and consistent use of colour. The detail and use of shading helps to make add depth to the design.

Burn Card Clothing
This site for a clothing company makes good use of a strong, but relatively common layout. I particularly like the consistent card theme, even down to the dark green hue of the background that's reminiscent of a card table.

A simple but effective interface element that uses little details to add depth to the design. I particularly like the groove mark of the top version of the switch.

Mud Map Icon
A striking design for an iPhone app icon! I love the textures here, they immediately engage with your eyes. Grass is a powerful texture, it works well in combination with the straightforward type of the mud 'M'.

A clear and visually engaging site for a dog trainer who specialises in training dogs for city environments. I like the use of typography throughout and entertaining tag lines. The overall consistency of the design is great and helps to make a strong statement.
