A simple but extremely effective logo for Discovery History. I like the symbolism of the peeling 'D', as if the surface is rolling back as we delve into the past. The colours work beautifully together and the textured background is great, although it won't work in every situation.

A simple yet effective logo for a web App. I like the fusion of concepts here, the name Nimbus and the cloud idea behind the logo. The blue colours chosen here work really well against the black background. I also particularly like the typeface and use of all lowercase.

An ingenious mechanism that makes your potential client actively want to read your information! I love the beautiful simplicity of the design and commitment to the concept.

An intriguing site for a designer who focuses on \'typographically sound\' design. It\'s interesting that it\'s so stripped back and minimal and simply includes a shot from his latest project rather than a gallery. An photo filter App that wants to give you a taste of the unpredictable nature of developing photos in the past! Each tap gives your image an overhaul, if you like it then you can just tap the unobtrusive heart icon in order to save it. I like the simple uncluttered interface and clean execution of a single idea.

A key thing to note about the Facebook App is how Facebook pays attention to detail and uses it’s notorious blue color so people can recognize it. The icons are excellent and the App manages to intuitively resemble the actual web site in terms of functionality.

Instapaper is incredibly simple, but executed to perfection. Text is crisp, well laid out, and a joy to read. Icons blend in with subtlety, and it's a wonderful place to spend some time reading and catching up on news!

This site has a nice textured background and a few beautiful illustrations that really make the site feel custom and unique. I particularly like the mountain illustration at the bottom of the page. It is not shown in its entirety above so be sure and stop by the site and scroll down to see it.

Kleeve sells custom t-shirts with unique illustrations. The product is displayed well on the homepage with high quality photography with a homegrown feel. The scribbled treatment at the top of the page is nice and reinforces the art element found in the shirts.
