An awesome app icon that grabs your attention immediately. The colours are bright but work perfectly for the app.

Spazio Dipaolo

A simple excellent portfolio site that makes the work, rather than the designer, the absolute focus. The grid layout works well, as does the simple navigation at the top.

Video Play Button

An intended replacement skin for the Youtube button that makes an impression through its complete simplicity. I like the subtle use of blue to add character to the design and the gentle use of gradients.

Vivid Menu Navigation PSD

A bright horizontal navigation bar that immediately catches your eye. It's simple, but it really works on the clean neutral background.

Shazam

A subtle redesign of the Shazam icon that makes a great impact. I love the colour that Shazam uses, and the use of texture and detail to create the overall brand.

Music Icon

A great icon for a music app designed for the iPhone. I really like the clear intentions of the icon and the use of detail to add depth. The fact that it looks like a delightful button that you just want to press is a bonus!

Doit Logo

An awesome logo redesign that makes a strong statement. I love the bright use of blue and the gorgeous lighting effects. This particular design has some great depth to it!

iA Writer Icon

A fascinating updated logo for iA Writer, a minimal writing app for iOS. I like the simplicity of it and the clean use of texture. I do, however, think that it's not the clearest possible icon for the app - the addition of at least one letter (A) before the cursor could clear everything up.

Pikaia

An excellent logo, and animation, for a games developer. I love the pixelated logotype and effective use of colour. The slanting effect is unique but can make the type difficult to read.

Prototype Designs

A stylish logo for a design agency. I really like the use of different shades of blue and the recognisable logo idea! It\'s great that it works so well with the colours inverted!

Woo Concept

This site is the online portfolio of Thibaut Ninove, a freelance web designer. I love the huge header, cool color scheme, and nice button design. This site does an excellent job at grabbing your attention and not letting go.
