Core Engine is an awesome looking site with a sort of fantasy adventure theme complete with rocket shops, UFOs and faux Iron Man characters. I love the use of contrast and textures as well as the quality of the illustrations in the slider.

A clean and simple site with a few really nice touches. The large typography is attractive along with the subtle background texture. The integration of the Twitter stream is seamless and the iPhone really makes for a nice focal point.

A nice looking site design with a crazy illustrated monster character that is quite funny and lovable. The best feature here is the integration of different textures throughout the site. Each section has its own background texture but they flow together remarkably well.

A Feed Apart is a twitter feed for all things related to the Event Apart event in Boston. I love the classy design of the page. The insets and shadows give a lot of three dimensional depthe to the design and the color scheme is spot on.

Giving your site a huge full bleed photo slideshow is a simple trick with a big impact. I love the images used here and the minimal sleekness of the whole design. They let their work speak for itself and it does a great job of doing so!

NameChecklist checks a username to see if it is available across a large range of social media sites and web tools. The clipboard theme works very well here and the overly large icons and text fields feel pixel perfect.

JomPoint is a web design firm with specific focus in Joomla. Their site is very clean and attractive with a solid layout, nice looking buttons, easily readable typography and a smooth image slider.

Nirvana is a good looking project management tool with a high focus on productivity. The site layout is simple and clean and communicates its message ver effectively. The icons are nice, the layout is solid and the blue and black color scheme feels professional.

PresetPond is a cool new site for users to upload and share free Aperture and Lightroom presets. The design is nice and clean and shows off the presets really well. Simply mouse over the image to see the original version and remove your mouse to see the edited version.

I am not sure how it all works, but Apperang is a site that claims to pay users for downloading iPhone apps. Regardless of whether or not you can actually make money from Apperang, it is in fact a great looking site. I like the big, bold typography and rounded, shadowed button shown above.

In truth I think this site could a bit of an aesthetic overhaul but the swiss army knife mouse won me over and is a great graphic to represent the business. Also, there is a lot of content on this page but it is divided up nicely into clearly distinct sections and provides good inspiration for organization.
