Some gorgeous, if obscure, icons relating to the space shuttle orbiter. I love the graphical style and fantastic use of colour. I particularly like the top right icon, the representation is just perfect.

A gorgeous detail for any site that features uploading of some description. I love the distressed texture and the manipulation of the cloud icon. The animated concept itself looks great and would be the perfect finishing touch for a site.

A stunningly detailed icon design that's made by the fingerprint on the central button. I like the subtle details, such as the little intercom camera and the depth given to the central button.

Flip Clock
An interesting design for a flip clock. I like the use of strong contrast and typography. The subtle text above is excellent, it doesn't get in the way of the focus of the design.

Pill Style Play Buttons
A great example of some delightful buttons. I really like the use of texture and hatching on the buttons themselves. The sense of perspective given to the pressed and unpressed circular buttons is great.

Skype Icon Redesign
A simply gorgeous redesign of the Skype icon. I love the incorporation of a camera and microphone into the icon. The attention to detail is great, as is the use of Skype's hugely recognisable colours.

A gorgeous set of user interface elements that could work perfectly in a variety of situations. I really like the use of colour and the simple twists on well recognised concepts.

Bacardi Mojito
An excellent example of how much impact detail can make in an icon. Simplicity's all good and well, but the visual impact of the colour and detail here is just great. I particularly like the red colour used for the straw, it adds further interest and diversity.

Damaged Switch
A great example of a twist on a clean user interface style. I really like the concept of worn and damaged switches, it's executed perfectly here. The colouring and detail adds some great depth to the design.

Wheel and Button
A great example of how far a little detail can go. I really like the depth that these simple UI elements have and the powerful use of colour. They look so tactile and clean, it makes you want to reach out and touch them!

British Tea Cup
A simply gorgeous example of an illustrated icon. I love the effective use of colour and the excellent use of shading. The background colour helps to highlight the detail on the cup itself.
