A brilliant site for a travelling food party that uses a consistent illustrative style to make a real impact. I love the colour palette and general tone of the site, it immediately draws you in.

Whataburger

A simple and fresh logo for a fast food brand that gives a very different image to the garish and luminescent one we're used to. I like the unique typeface and the restrained use of colour.

LYO FOOD

A solid site that makes an immediate impact. I really like how strong the logo is and the use of orange to highlight specific design details. The grid layout below works well to give visitors the information they need.

A classy and stylish logo for a food boutique that makes a strong statement. I love the choice of colours and also the 'B' made from cutlery, it an excellent design touch.

Fjordland Ready Meals

A strong example of product branding. I really like the use of bright coloured labels to make an impact. The black packaging helps to highlight the food itself and draw in potential customers.

A brilliant restaurant site that makes an immediate impact. I love the food photography here, it's a difficult thing to get right but the colour and freshness of the food here is clearly evident. The simple central block of information is easy to understand and clear, people often just want the vital details when looking up a restaurant online.

A glimpse of a great interface for an iPhone app. I love the wood textures and the detail of the grain, while the snapshot photos work well to add life to the UI. The custom font used for the app name makes a strong statement and is utterly memorable.

A clean and simple interface for an ingenious iPhone App that helps you discover and share the best local ingredients. I find that the colour palette really works, while the map feature is an effective way to source and find ingredients.

Appetites

Appetites is a simply gorgeous iPad App that teaches you how to cook using luscious videos content and detailed instructions! I love the homely feel of the App and choice of wood for the background. One particular highlight is definitely the use of video photographs of the various food bloggers, it creates an amazingly immersive experience!

Mealeo

Mealo is a food ordering website with an awesomely clean and original design. The site is an elegant mix of fun and professional design that makes it immediately clear what the site does.

Mcdonalds

Mcdonalds really stepped up to the plate with their most recent website design. It is modern, clean, and uses superb food photography extensively. By ditching the clutter and letting the food be the hero, they really highlight their products well.
