A crisp and professional logo that makes a statement with its typeface. I particularly like the simple use of colour to create a distinct aesthetic.

A great icon that uses reflection very effectively. I particularly like the contrast between the coloured icon and the grey of the box.

Natalia Ventre

I really like the subtle yet beautiful background that gives this portfolio site its character. The restrained use of text and navigation means that visitors are guided into direct contact with this designers work, and then straight to the contact information.

Scott Stephens

This is a superb example of a personal logo, I love the impact the jagged mark makes. The symmetry is great while the juxtaposition of the sharp corners of the mark with the circle surround helps to make it recognisable.

Pantone

A simply gorgeous icon that makes beautiful use of the whole spectrum. I love the perspective and depth of the icon, the whole thing just leaps from the screen.

FC Internazionale

A gorgeous interface design for the F.C. Internazionale app. I love the consistent use of a single colour scheme and intuitive use of tabs. The high quality images and detailed statistics are what really make this app.

The Good Food Finder

A clean and simple interface for an ingenious iPhone App that helps you discover and share the best local ingredients. I find that the colour palette really works, while the map feature is an effective way to source and find ingredients.

New Year Gift Set

A beautiful and original idea for a calendar that was designed for Huggies. I love the moving baby's feet concept that imitates the baby's steps to show the current day. I love the childlike and innocent look of the calendar, as if it was hand-made.

Squeeze Creative

An immediately intriguing site for a creative design agency. In this instance I really like the use of a static left sidebar, it allows consistently intuitive navigation of the site. The area of black space on the right seems a little pointless and negatively affects the weighting of the layout. The focal slideshow, however, is great and works hard to hold your attention!

Plastic Bullet

An photo filter App that wants to give you a taste of the unpredictable nature of developing photos in the past! Each tap gives your image an overhaul, if you like it then you can just tap the unobtrusive heart icon in order to save it. I like the simple uncluttered interface and clean execution of a single idea.

Urbanspoon for iPad

A great iPad App for finding the perfect place to eat out! I love the use of maps and classy blue pins! The selection wheels are delightfully satisfying to use!

Sebcreation

This site uses dramatic photography and impressive lighting effects to capture your attention. The busy background made creating readable typography difficult but the designer handled the problem like a pro and has created a beautiful and readable page.

Six11ink

A beautiful site with a papered texture background and superb vintage illustrations. The typography in the headlines is quite attractive and utilizes a double shadow technique.

Rapture of the Deep

This site features a crazy design that is quite random and busy, but in a good way. The unique design uses bright color, rich textures and a silly personality to attract your attention.
