An excellent example of how much impact detail can make in an icon. Simplicity's all good and well, but the visual impact of the colour and detail here is just great. I particularly like the red colour used for the straw, it adds further interest and diversity.

A brilliant interface design for an iPhone app that turns your phone into a game controller. It's very pretty, but it's also going to be fully functional! I love how reminiscent it is of the NES controllers.

A gorgeous site for a web design studio. I love the use of typography and dramatic, and large, slogan. The slogan works really well to draw people in, as does the slider of recent projects.

A well structured and intuitive portfolio site for a web designer. I like the use of colour and motion that the arrow elements give the site. The gallery is simple but functional, with colour fading in as you scroll over an entry.
