A relatively functional site for a web designer that uses a rather nifty gallery structure. I like the character of the site, the ideas of the designer come across very clearly. It also makes it very simple to view particular portfolio designs.

An interesting take on the Facebook 'Like' button that displays a clear sense of style. The colour palette works really well to give this element character. It could be even better if the different elements were fused together in a more realistic setting.

A striking site for a design studio based in Knoxville. The style of the site makes an immediate impression, the pixellated left border giving the site a distinct character. The typeface works well with the overall design of the site.

Skype Icon Redesign
A simply gorgeous redesign of the Skype icon. I love the incorporation of a camera and microphone into the icon. The attention to detail is great, as is the use of Skype's hugely recognisable colours.

Prologue
This particular site makes an immediate impact with its strong graphic approach. The paint splashes add interest and colour to what could otherwise be a functional and lifeless site. The consistent graphic style works well, although some of the paint splashes are a little distracting.

A great portfolio site for a web designer that makes an immediate impact. I like the vibrant use of colour and simple layout. The only thing I'm not convinced by is what happens as you scroll over the central button, the boxes that appear look a little messy over the background.

The digital portfolio of Andre Alves is clean and effortlessly stylish. The grid layout really works for the gallery, and the navigation has a simple twist to it. I particularly like the custom typeface used for the logo.

An awesome logo that beautifully incorporates a tape cassette into the typeface. I really like the distressed and textured effect used and the blue colour chosen here. The typeface is fascinating and really makes an immediate impact.
