This logo certainly makes an impact, the octopus a strong example of visual imagery. It uses a well-used format for a logo, but the mark and typeface manage to look coherent and effective.

A simple logo that uses a well-trodden, but effective concept to make a mark. I like the stark use of black and white, and the intriguing shape of the whale.

A simple logo that really works, I love the effortless representation of the lightbulb. The way the 'M' works as a filament is great, it's the little details that make logos work.

A superb logo that's immediately recognisable owing to the nature of the typography. The white works beautifully on the dark brown background, the typeface giving the logo a unique character.

A painfully simple yet beautifully effective logo design that has a certain motion to it. I particularly like the blue colour and the rough texture and edges of the lines, it helps to add character and depth to the design.

A subtle and understated logo that uses a muddy green colour rarely seen in graphic design. The overall effect is actually quite effective, the neutral and earthy colours highlighting the contrast between the background and the river blue.
