A simply excellent site for a clothing company that makes tees based on pop culture references. The colourful and engaging slider immediately makes an impression, while the gallery entices you further in.

Grove Logo

A simple but purely effective logo that avoids complex lines and shapes. I like the minimal lines of the mark, and the evident imagery. The typeface fits perfectly with the nature of the shapes that form the logo mark.

iCodeLabs

I absolutely love this site for an iOS developer. The stunning illustrations immediately grab your attention and draw you in. It's designed to make an impact, I particularly like the way the movement of the mouse changes the perception of the design.

Goody Curve

A fascinating project that aimed to redefine the user interface of current hair dryer forms. The handle design and button placement are the biggest changes, it would be intriguing to see how much of a difference this makes.

Taffy Twist

A great rebranding of 'Gourmet Taffy'. The colours are inviting and perfectly reminiscent of the century-old product. I really like the simple physical design of the packaging, it works well to show off the product.

Mathieu Clauss

A gorgeous site for a freelance graphic designer. I love the bold slider and the geometric elements. The variety of colour and coherence of the site helps it to make a great impact.

Bärnt & Ärnst

A rather fascinating site for a pair of web developers that is unevenly weighted to the left. While the uneven weight may frustrate some, it also lends the site a unique appeal. I particularly like the gentle colour palette and use of icons throughout.

Landshare

An inspirational site that aims to connect growers to people with land to share! The use of colour here is excellent and really draws your eye to where it needs to be. I love how within seconds you understand the Landshare concept without even trying - a great sign of clever web design! I particularly like the Landshare logo and encouraging members ticker!

An ingenious App that connects growers to people with land to share! It looks great and is effortlessly intuitive to use. I love the earthy feel of the App and its excellent use of custom icons!

Eucaminas

A really effective logo for a reforestation company. The use of green and brown is great, as is the incorporation of a hand in the tree logo. I really like the simple typeface and the overall impact of this logo.

Tumblr (iPhone)

The Tumblr App for iPhone is a simple and straightforward way to manage your site on the go and its interface is perfect for just that. Its iPhone consistent UI is great and the use of only three tabs further increases its usability.

Amplitube

A great sounding and fantastic looking amp modelling App for the iPad. I love the massive amount of detail on the various different control knobs. I also particularly like the authentic looking Amplitube logo.

Cascade Brewery

This awesomely original site is a beautiful example of great web design. The unique layout, superb retro illustrations, dark colors and aged textures are all spot on. You really have to stop by the site and see it live to appreciate it.

Mix & Mash

This site has a wonderfully unique design that plays heavily on the title and uses a ribbon coming out of a blender as a banner for text. I love the color scheme, original concept and slight background animations.

Idea Foundry

Idea Foundry is a series of web training classes based in Michigan. The color scheme is attractive and professional, the typography is well planned and the icon strip on the right side of the page makes for a quick visual read of a lot of information. Overall a pretty great design.
