A gorgeous example of analog UI design. I love the blue colour used throughout and the presence that the knobs have. The use of textures help to add depth to the overall design.

A great interface for an iPad game that makes an immediate impression. I really like the attention to detail and engaging use of graphical elements.

A great logo that makes perfect use of geometry to make it stand out from the crowd. I particularly like the interesting colour palette and typesetting, both help the logo to maintain a sense of uniqueness.

Alessio Atzeni

A great site for a web and front-end designer based in Italy. I particularly like the use of blue as a strong highlight colour and the consistent theme of the site. The layout is intuitive while the dark background helps it to stand out from the crowd.

The Work of Jason Perez

A great example of a grid layout, this site is entirely consumed by a fascinating design portfolio. I love the colour variety and diversity of the images, while the black boxes add some interesting contrast to the design.

Full Frontal 2011

A simply gorgeous site for a Javascript conference. I really like the typography and illustrative style here. The intuitive layout is great, as is the restrained use of text and information - it's easy to get the idea.

Laboratoire

An intriguing and vividly colourful logo that immediately grabs your attention. I like the drop design and the use of shape and colour throughout. The design works very effectively against a white background, the colour really stands out.

Idyllic Creative Handcrafted Design

A beautiful site for a designer specialising in 'handcrafted' design. I love the illustrations, they really bring the site to life. I particularly like the colour palette, it's different enough to make a statement.

An excellent logo for a poetry society. I love the incorporation of the 'I' and the wise owl. I also particularly like the use of colour and subtle deterioration and texture.

Warble Entertainment

A vibrant and instantly striking site for an entertainment agency. I really like the consistently colourful design and use of graphic illustrations to contrast with the photography. It's immediately obvious what this company does, one of the key signs of a well designed site.

Planet Logo

A beautifully clean and crisp logo that immediately conjures environmental imagery. The spherical planet-like idea works really well with the leaves like countries falling from its surface! The colour palette is excellent and perfectly complements the straightforward typeface.

muSa

Created purely from differently sized dots this design is simple yet full of creativity! I like the use of a capital \'S\' - it helps to make the name recognisable in any context!

Indus Tuesdays

Two strikingly different colours, but consistent styling makes these cards work really well. The whole concept just seems to "work" for me, and I love that they're presented on a wooden textured background.
