Earl Varona's portfolio website — I am a very well rounded web designer and developer. Having always been fascinated with how things work, I was drawn to programming. I can't resist learning about anything and everything web related from server-side scripting to design techniques and strategies. Web became my passion.

A bold and starkly intrusive site for an Italian film. The unrepentant use of red and black makes an instant impression, you'll remember this site. I particularly like the rough textures and use of silhouettes throughout.

A bold and effective site for a design and development company. The large photograph makes an immediate impact, and the logo is memorable. I like the intuitive layout, although it's not particularly recognisable.

A striking home site for a graphic designer. I think the decision to keep the text at an absolute minimum unless the user requests it works really well here. Using switches helps to make it an immersive experience and further intrigue any prospective clients, although it may also put some off.
