On this day... is a brilliant example of App interface design. The bespoke calendar effect works really well throughout the App. I particularly like the interesting choice of green for the calendar.

A bizarre but attractive portfolio site with plenty of stellar work on display. The heads are used as a recurring theme to show the relation of visual design to UX in each project. An interesting idea!

These business cards are minimal, stylish, and yet retain an element of interest using the accented green colour. I particularly like the small icons used to represent phone and email, as well as the consistent typeface used throughout.

Futuristic sci-fi gameplay with a simple control structure, coupled with some really gorgeous interface styling. It's hard to pull off "space age" while retaining style, but Astronut nails it.

This site is the portfolio of designer and student Chris Kinsey. The mixture of bold condensed and script fonts in the headline is a really nice combination. I also like the color scheme and the refreshingly different layout of the thumbnails and descriptions.

The layout is basically a simple grid of thumbnails but I really like how the designer styled it. The thumbnail treatments is really nice and I like the oddly thin column of images on the textured background.

A popular Mac software developer, Realmac produce some gorgeous applications and have a website to match. Each app is given plenty of surrounding space, and navigation is very clear. The design is made particularly special due to the application icons which are used to great effect. Be sure to dig past the homepage to see a far more immersive and visually rich design.
