Sometimes, the colour of an element can do wonders for an interface. This is one of those occasions. Another grey slider would have made this a mundane design at best, but the perspective and bright colour of the slider makes it jump right out at you.

A strong logo that makes an impact through the purposeful setting of type. The typography is beautiful and simply exudes elegance, I particularly like the way the cross on the 'A' has been dropped.

A great site for a website designer and developer that explains the purpose of the site in an effortlessly concise way. I like the layout and consistent styling of the site, the icons work beautifully.

The tagline of this site is "Making design and marketing an artform." This site makes a strong effort to grab your attention, I rather like the paint styling of the central image.

An incredibly strong stamp that would make a powerful statement as a logo. The background colour is exotic, but works to grab your attention. I really like the elements of simplicity there are in the Lion design itself.

Personal Wellness Revolution

A great logo for a fitness company! The word revolution is perfectly played out in the shape of the logo. I particularly like the red colour that\'s been used here, although I do feel the central design should have been properly symmetrical.

This business card is simply stylish! The use of clean black lines on a white background is always really effective. The subtle use of red is good, it also works great as the background colour!

Deluxe

Here we have an interesting example page for a Wordpress theme. The design is sleek and features a great gallery layout! I particularly like the way the images get smaller the further you delve into the site!

Hallaserke

A straightforward logo framed by a fascinating background! The polaroid theme is used well and I like the textures used. The colour palette works really well, the pink immediately grabs your attention!

Juleco Design

A really nice freelance design portfolio with a solid layout and some fun illustrations. I really appreciate how well thought the entire page is from top to bottom. The area above the footer is just as nice as the header.

An attractive design featuring a nice illustrated look and bright colors. I like the icon design at work here as well as the simple layout and messaging that instantly communicates what the site does.

Woo Concept

This site is the online portfolio of Thibaut Ninove, a freelance web designer. I love the huge header, cool color scheme, and nice button design. This site does an excellent job at grabbing your attention and not letting go.

Mid Summer Jazz 2010

This beautiful site uses a grunge textured background and excellently attractive typography. The navigation takes you to a new section of the same page, divided visually by vivid color changes.
