A great site that makes an immediate impact by putting the content front and centre. I love the graphics and the use of colour, it helps draw you in.

I simply love this example of typography, the missing sections are perfectly judged to make an impact while leaving the logo readable. The colours also work rather beautifully together!

An excellent example of a logo that makes an immediate impression. The colourful and engaging mark on the left works beautifully with the clear and concise type on the right. I really like the use of typography and the background colour used.

Austin Signal

A stunning logo for Austin Signal Vintage Sounds studio. It's a logo that's almost entirely based on a custom typeface. I absolutely love the distressed look of the logo and the depth that the detail adds.

Broadcast Site Icon

A stunning icon that makes an immediate impact. This icon exemplifies how striking attention to detail can make an icon. I love the details on the lens and the sense of perspective.

Map Icon

A gorgeous icon concept for an iPhone app. The detail here is stunning, the page curls, map image, and textures all contributing. Not fit for it's purported iPhone purpose yet, but beautiful nonetheless.

A gorgeous site for a unique and playful music creation application for the iPhone and iPad. I love the animated background and the vibrant use of colour. The purpose of the site is clear and it makes good use of the text it employs.

Encide Battlebay

A fascinating and gorgeous interface design that makes amazing use of colour. I love the futuristic design elements and beautiful finish. It's striking and immediately makes an impact, the vibrant pink really working with the darker tones.

Ginas

A beautiful logo that takes a simple idea and makes it work. The spacing and straightforward nature of the typeface works really well in contrast to the background colour. This logo is made by the gorgeous colour combination.

Tobias Persson

A rather fascinating site for a stand up comic that's bound to divide opinion. I find the movement of the image helps to give some character to the site and isn't too distracting. I really like the colour palette, the blue here works really well with the overall purple scheme of the site.

Synchstep

A gorgeous interface for a stunningly simple yet brilliant iPhone App. SynchStep analyses your pace and matches your music to your steps! The purple colour scheme is bold but works well to give the App its own character. I particularly like the use of big buttons.

Alarms

Alarms is a simple yet stylish reminder App for your Mac. Its stripped back interface is perfect for its single function and doesn\'t take long to figure out! I like how the developers have used a monochrome palette for almost the entire App!

New Stream Design

This site reminds me of the modern are trends of the 1990s. However, it is done in a tasteful way that does not seem outdated but instead is quite attractive. I like the dark colors and tilted shapes throughout.

AKA Acid

This awesome site uses a heavy dose of beautiful 3D modeling to create immersive and fantastical scenes on every page. I love the treatment of typography throughout the site and the modeling is really excellent.
