A gorgeous interface design for a portfolio. I love how well the designer's personality comes across. The grid of icons works brilliantly to intrigue and draw in your visitors, you want to scroll over every icon!

A relatively simple but well though-out design for a marketing agency. The consistent use of the raven idea works well to give the site a sense of unity. I generally find the colour palette works, although I'm not convinced by the orange navigation.

76 Synthesizer
A absolutely gorgeous example of interface design for the iPad. This synthesizer is simply jaw-dropping, the textures and bespoke switches and buttons transporting you through time. I love the golden hue of the controls and the analog style dials.

A beautiful example of physical print design for the latest contemporary dance festival hosted at the CCVF Guimarães. I love the vibrant use of colour and attention paid to typeface. The layout and key design elements can significantly alter the way we interact with magazines and journals.

An immediate and striking site for an interface and web designer. The large slideshow of quotes and ideas really helps to draw visitors into the site. I particularly like the twist given to the social networking icons!

A great example of an incredibly minimal business card design. I love the simplicity of it! The white stripes work well against the block of grey, while the whole card oozes style.

A clean and effective user interface design for an online shop. I like the simplicity of the interface and consistency of the pictures used. It's great the way the interface of the site is subtle enough to let the products take centre stage.

TEDx Portland
A simple but supremely effective site for an independent TED event. I like the bold and brash use of white letters on the black background, while the consistent use of colour throughout really works. The way the letters fall away and dissipate as you scroll down the site adds an extra layer of interest.

Body Arts Laboratory
An absolutely intriguing site design for the Body Arts Laboratory. The major downside is the lack of immediate information regarding what the site is, but the upside is the fascinating layout. The background image would have a dramatic effect on any visitors to the site.

Wooden Mouse
An amazing piece of product design that directly feeds into our interaction with our computers. I like the surprising attention to detail and beautiful craftsmanship. The engraving of the word 'gentle' on the mouse wheel is a nice touch.

Pantone Calendar
A fascinating and gorgeous design for a calendar. I love the attempt here at making the calendar relevant on a global scale by including a huge variety of images (1440) from around the world. The colour wheel concept is great and has been painstakingly carried through here.

An immediately intriguing site for a graphic and web designer from Columbia. The colour palette works extremely effectively, I love the blend of neutrals and colours. I particularly like the gallery here, it allows you to focus on one project at a time as you scroll across the page.
