A sleek iPad App from Yahoo! Entertainment. The use of a cinema-esque background is interesting and the layout of the content is great. I particularly like the attention to detail and use of backgrounds that complement the content.

Here we have a design that is about as creative and artistic as a business card can get! The central design elements are excellent and the sheer uniqueness of this card allows me to forgive the slightly awkward typeface.

A professional business card that still makes an impact. The monochrome palette is used to full effect, as is the simple typeface. I especially like the design detail used on both sides of the card.

An attractive magazine style site that draws together interesting things from across the web. The central logo is extremely effective at grabbing your attention and I love the fruit theme. I also particularly like the use of large thumbnail links and how attractive they make the site.

A personal database and organiser for the iPad that sports an interface that\'s simply great. The digital clipboard is a nice effect while the whole App feels carefully thought out. Of particularly note are the vast array of customised icons!

A clean and simple logo for the Hong Kong Design Institute. I like the unfussy nature of the typeface and the use of bold. The use of a simple logo is effective in maintaining recognition.

1st Stop Claims Company
While this design doesn\'t push the boundaries and sticks with a fairly standard formula it\'s worth noting the high quality of photograph used. The body illustration on the right is an interesting touch.

Evernote for iPad has a brilliantly intuitive and effortlessly beautiful interface. The use of thumbnail pictures throughout brings colour and life to the App and the attention to detail is great! I particularly like the way your notes are stacked - keeping you in touch with the way things used to be remembered...

A site that needs using to fully understand the design - with each section coming to life as your scroll over it. I love the contrast of the blue and red with the black and grey of the rest of the site.

Pulse News
A gorgeous news and article reader from the good people at Alphonso Labs. The simple Pulse logo really appeals to me while the use of light blue throughout is very effective. I particularly like the sketches that guide you though how to use Pulse.

Brokedesign
An outstanding design portfolio site. Immediately draws your attention to the dramatic design in the centre and leads you to enquire further. The use of polaroids as thumbnails is great and I also like the contrast of the bright primary colours with the black and white interface of the site.

The Photo Cookbook
The use of high quality photography throughout is great and really brings this App to life! I also particularly like the standardised buttons and menus which allow the user to pick it up and get cooking!

Stan the Snowman
A great looking post card site. The images have a delightful hand-drawn feel and really grab your attention. One design element that really appeals to me is the use of custom drawn Facebook and Twitter badges.
