Another great, albeit subtle, redesign of the Sparrow iOS icon. I really like the way the background colour of the icon perfectly matches the blue colours on the paper plane. It's simple but effective.

I particularly like the distressed look of this logo design, although I'm unconvinced by the way the marks go outside the circle. The strong use of monochrome and symmetry helps to mark this logo out.

Sometimes, the colour of an element can do wonders for an interface. This is one of those occasions. Another grey slider would have made this a mundane design at best, but the perspective and bright colour of the slider makes it jump right out at you.

Here we have a simply gorgeous site that's dedicated to fixed gear bicycles. I love the minimal layout and restrained use of text, but the thing that shines through is the phenomenal photography - it's jaw-droppingly good!
