A brilliant landing page for Havana Club, the bright colours and strong photographic imagery certainly grabs your attention. The use of typography is great and adds a layer of authenticity to the site.

Clean UI

A gorgeous example of clean and stylish user interface design. I love the sharpness of the dial and the hatching on the loading bar. The use of one colour, in this case green, makes the design engaging while keeping it sleek.

Vee Collective Logo

A brilliantly unique take on recreating a letter for a logo. I love the perspective and depth created by the differing shades of colour. The vibrant green is certainly memorable!

A great logo for a graphic design company. The standout feature is far and away its unique cutout concept. I love the bright greens in combination with subtle neutrals.

The City Is Burning

A bold HTML5 site for a web designer that has clearly had a lot of attention given to it. I like impact that the header makes and clear way the site leads you through. A good example of a how a single column layout can work.

NOLA Japan Quake Fund

Any site that is made in specific response to an event needs to make an immediate impact. The powerful use of images used here help to impress on us the urgency of the situation. It's great that this site has made it so easy, and quick, to donate.

Planet Logo

A beautifully clean and crisp logo that immediately conjures environmental imagery. The spherical planet-like idea works really well with the leaves like countries falling from its surface! The colour palette is excellent and perfectly complements the straightforward typeface.

Eco

A fascinating logo that\'s designed around an intricate typeface. I like the huge amount of attention to detail and good use of colour. The design makes an instant impact and is extremely memorable!

Ally Creative

A very stylish site with an intuitive layout. The \'Ally\' logo is a great piece of design while the ever-changing central picture holds your attention. I particularly like how the large amount of empty space surrounding the header allows your attention to be drawn to the focal point of the site.

Ian Mintz

The watercolor illustration of clouds on this site is quite beautiful and interestingly combined with origami birds for an altogether unique look. I like the single-page nature of the site and how the content for other pages scrolls in via jQuery instead of additional page loads.

TilleyDesigns

This site uses a simple but effective design with a jQuery slider header and another for the content area. The use of sliders allowed the designer to cram a ton of content on a single page in a nicely designed manner.

Branding & Web Design

This site features a flying sea turtle island with a windmill on its back. How cool is that? In addition to this crazy graphic, I like the textured background and use of all caps in the headers.

Bright color and bold typography make this design a definite winner. I love the unique idea for displaying the services being offered and the large social links at the bottom.

Bam Creative

A relatively simple design that makes a few really bold statements. I love the huge bomb, the bright background color repeated in important places around the site, and the peeling labels.

Druck Deine Diplomarbeit

A really great looking site with clean lines, nice typography and excellent icon design. The treatment of the headline is particularly nice along with the large footer that contrasts heavily with the rest of the page.

Maksimer

Bright colors, nice typography and plenty of whitespace are the primary design features that stand out here. I really like the simple, stepped sticky note idea. These also feature a nice page curl rollover on hover.
