Here we have a strong site for a web design and development company that uses its own unique style to make an impact. I particularly like the colour consistency and the intuitive layout.

A superb example of a minimal toggle switch that's based on the great color scheme in "Afternoon in New York" by Allan http://drbl.in/ebSZ. I love the colours and the perfect proportions.

An intended replacement skin for the Youtube button that makes an impression through its complete simplicity. I like the subtle use of blue to add character to the design and the gentle use of gradients.

This PSD contains three different styles of to-do list, each with a unique look and feel, and intricate detail. It’s also included as a high resolution “retina ready” PSD for use on mobile devices.

Here we have a logo for a mobile app which is based on geolocation. I really like the subtle depth added by the colour palette and the incorporation of the location icon.

A simple calendar widget design that just wants to be customized! I love the subtle buttons and clear typography.
Posted in Interface → ElementAn interesting example of an icon that's bright and engaging while conveying a clear purpose. The lightbulb/pencil design has been done before, but it's a good motif.

A great example of a button for a contact section of a personal portfolio. I love the detail and the use of texture that gives the button depth and presence.
Posted in Interface → ElementA great icon design for a Github iPhone app. I really like the attention to detail and the crispness of the design, but I'm not sure about the rainbow colours.

A good example of a logo that takes a simple idea but adds depth using detail. The colour palette really works, as does the way the background mirrors the shape of the logo.
Posted in Branding → LogoAn interesting concept for an alternative Twitter icon that makes great use of texture. The knitted bird works well to make you look again, although it's certainly not a direction Twitter themselves would ever go.

A gorgeous example of attention to detail in user interface element design. I particularly like the use of colour to give life to the meter and switch. The perspective of the switches is enticing, almost begging you to reach out and press them.

A striking site for a design studio based in Knoxville. The style of the site makes an immediate impression, the pixellated left border giving the site a distinct character. The typeface works well with the overall design of the site.

A gorgeous example of an icon for iOS. I love the varied and dynamic use of lighting effects and the blue colour that adds character to the design. The perspective works to add depth to the icon and make it that much more press-able.

A great site for a designer that adequately showcases his knack for illustration. I like the simple and clean layout and the personal touches. The restrained use of colour helps to highlight certain aspects of the design.

A good logo for a meeting web app. The venn diagram concept works well for this kind of purpose. I like the quirky typeface and the interesting colour palette.
