Sticky Butterscotch UI
A gorgeous example of consistent user interface design that makes an impact. I like the dark textures and little details that give this UI set depth. One of the hardest things to achieve is making all of the elements look like they fit together, something that is certainly accomplished here.

A great icon for an app that lets you find free Wi-Fi hotspots close to your location. I love the clean and detailed design of the icon, and the excellent use of the Wi-Fi logo. This app would look great on any home screen!

A simple but effective site for a safari holiday company that immediately conveys the right impression. I really like the way that thumbnails throughout the site are carved to fit alongside text.

These coasters are rather gorgeous design pieces aimed at promoting the Insites tour, a series of design-focussed talks and discussions across the UK. I love the use of colour here and the perfection with which these have been printed.

A simply gorgeous take on the iPod controls for the iPhone. I love the shining chrome of the buttons themselves and the use of texture. The continued use of reflection works well with the styling.

A simply gorgeous site for a one day event for web designers and developers, that offers the opportunity to meet up with industry friends and peers, and have a day of adventure out in the countryside. I really like the graphical style and simple use of animations and typography.

A gorgeous, and unique, example of brilliant packaging design. I love the bright and vibrant use of colour and geometric shapes. The concept of using a shape that accurately represents not only the brand name, but also the shape of the tea bags, is just great!

Restaurant Porte Sainte Claire Annecy
A brilliant restaurant site that makes an immediate impact. I love the food photography here, it's a difficult thing to get right but the colour and freshness of the food here is clearly evident. The simple central block of information is easy to understand and clear, people often just want the vital details when looking up a restaurant online.

A simple but brilliant logo that immediately catches your eye. I really like the bright colours used here and the textured appearance of the tomato. The logo itself looks like it's a childish drawing, something that can be very hard to capture.

An immediately intriguing site for a graphic and web designer from Columbia. The colour palette works extremely effectively, I love the blend of neutrals and colours. I particularly like the gallery here, it allows you to focus on one project at a time as you scroll across the page.

An absolutely fascinating approach to user interface design. This is a contact page like no other... The hand-drawn style is used effectively, and while I not totally on board with the changing of the mouse and attempts to get you to view the site fullscreen, it's certainly a different approach to a contact page!
