A beautifully designed playlist for the Mac that features excellent use of textures. I really like the incorporation of the thumbnail and the consistent use of colour. The subtle details on the controls really add depth and 'make' the design.

A strong single column portfolio for a UI/Web designer. I really like the bold invitation to connect socially and the attention paid to typography. The vertically structured gallery works well and gives you time to appreciate each project individually.

I like the black background that has been used for the site of this creative design studio, it allows the colourful designs to make an impact. The uneven grid layout is effective at grabbing your attention, while the interesting logo further intrigues visitors.

A great portfolio site for a web designer that makes an immediate impact. I like the vibrant use of colour and simple layout. The only thing I'm not convinced by is what happens as you scroll over the central button, the boxes that appear look a little messy over the background.

A great shot of a user interface that makes use of some rather small icons. I'm impressed at how much can be displayed by such small icons! I also particularly like the blue background colour and detail on the buttons.

A brilliant piece of interface design for a iPhone video player. I find the simplicity of the controls works well, each icon is effortlessly clear and stylish. The slight transparency also works well to give the app a final touch of class.

A simple site for a piece of software that works as an in-tray for your Dropbox. I like the simple but memorable graphics and the restrained use of text. The blue colour helps to link it to the service that it's complementing.

A great logo and logotype for a corporate branding exercise. I love the use of colour on the 'X' logo itself, although perhaps that could have been used as the first letter of the word. The type is clean and utterly readable, something especially important for corporate logos.

A brilliant concept for an iPhone app icon. The sheer amount of detail here really works to make a strong impact. I really like the array of colours found in the lens, it makes a great central conceit for the icon.
