A simple but effective interface element for a web app. I like the use of icons and the adherence to clean design. The reserved colours of the interface help to let the thumbnail images make an impact.

A great design for a magnifying function on an infographic. I love the way the coloured elements stand out on the graphic. The shape of the magnified section works really well, I particularly like the close button.

Pill Style Play Buttons
A great example of some delightful buttons. I really like the use of texture and hatching on the buttons themselves. The sense of perspective given to the pressed and unpressed circular buttons is great.

A simply but effective site for a cafe. I particularly like the use of a coloured squares to add style and interest to the layout of the site. The photography is great and really adds something to the experience.

iA Writer Icon
A fascinating updated logo for iA Writer, a minimal writing app for iOS. I like the simplicity of it and the clean use of texture. I do, however, think that it's not the clearest possible icon for the app - the addition of at least one letter (A) before the cursor could clear everything up.

A great logotype that immediately makes an impact. I love the use of colour and the style of the illustration. The typeface for 'surfer' is particularly unique and angular.

A mockup of an interface design for a compass app for Android. I love the attention to detail and the custom icons designed for the project. Overall the interface in intuitive and makes good use of highlight colours for 'Add Place' and 'Add Note'.

A fascinating and well designed site that's aim is to reduce inappropriate use of Comic Sans. I like the typefaces used and colours chosen for the various pages. The navigation works very effectively to keep the visitor engaged.

A wonderfully striking logo for a new clothing company. The boldness of the text and interesting typeface help to form a strong brand. I particularly like the blue colour used here, it works beautifully with the white.

A fascinating example of site navigation. The pagination used here fundamentally changes the way you interact with the interface. I love the way the boxes are highlighted in red, it has to be tried to be understood.

A bright and bold site for web design and marketing agency. The use of icons and illustration throughout really helps to give the site character, it makes a statement about the company itself. The intuitive layout is great and helps to guide you through the page, you can immediately tell what it is the company does.

A simple yet effective logo for a web App. I like the fusion of concepts here, the name Nimbus and the cloud idea behind the logo. The blue colours chosen here work really well against the black background. I also particularly like the typeface and use of all lowercase.
