Things has an understated, Mac-link interface that works phenomenally well. From the simple item graphics, to the classic icons, everything looks great. Also worth noting is the fantastic "magnifying glass" effect used to highlight certain aspects of the UI.

This site uses an awesome and original chalkboard theme absolutely littered with great texture and custom sketches. The theme idea could have easily come out very poorly but the execution here is top notch.

A wonderfully retro design from BuySellAds advertising their new AdPacks program. The artwork really nails the time period they are shooting for and once you start looking at the finer details you can tell that they put a lot of work into the design.

This page takes the MailChimp retro branding to an awesome extreme. It is covered from top to bottom with excellent texture, typography and photographs that are all period perfect for the design style.

This page showcases some really creative design talent and a unique concept. I like the illustrated look of the typography and the giant lightbulb. The bright colors and rich texture also round out the design very nicely.

This site features a ton of information on a single page, but the info has been organized in a thoughtful and effective manner to avoid a cluttered look. I particularly like the little interactive slider module on the right side of the page.

Minimalism is tricky to pull off and this site does a fairly good job of presenting a simple but attractive page. The alignment of various items definitely needs a little work but overall it is a great looking page.

A neat little site that helps both Mac and PC users find keyboard shortcuts. There are a lot of subtle design details that make this site seem nice and polished. All the one pixel strokes, shadows and gradients just look beautiful together.

PresetPond is a cool new site for users to upload and share free Aperture and Lightroom presets. The design is nice and clean and shows off the presets really well. Simply mouse over the image to see the original version and remove your mouse to see the edited version.

In truth I think this site could a bit of an aesthetic overhaul but the swiss army knife mouse won me over and is a great graphic to represent the business. Also, there is a lot of content on this page but it is divided up nicely into clearly distinct sections and provides good inspiration for organization.

A nice looking site with a simple design featuring a floating Google Chrome browser window tied to the ground like a hot air balloon. I like the gradient on the background and the clean two column layout at the bottom.

The graphic design portfolio of M. Muller. I really like the simplicity of this site. It is essentially just a headline and a large slideshow. The animated beakers in the background are a really nice touch and there is a 3D effect that takes place when you move your mouse.
