A great business card design that uses subtle raised type to make an impact.

A great reimagining of the Twitter logo that adds extra colour to make an impact. It's certainly not a road that Twitter would take, but I like the thought.

A superb set of icons derived from the component pieces of a skateboard. I like the attention to detail and the sense of realism.

An excellent icon for an iPhone app that helps to keep track of your luggage. I love the radar concept and the way the details help give the icon, and the app, character.

The use of bright colours helps to make this a friendly and accessible logo. I like the detailed colour changes at the overlapping points and the plus sign that is formed by the coloured leaves.

This is a fantastically understated, yet perfect, site for one of the most accomplished and well-respected hair stylists in the world. I love the simple grid of photographs and the reluctance to use any text that isn't absolutely necessary.

A beautiful example of an interface element, an analog control to be precise. I particularly like the attention to detail and use of lighting ideas. There's a certain perspective that helps to add depth and presence to the design.

A striking and immediately engaging site for a cupcake maker! The bright yellow colour selected for the cupcake images works beautifully with the more neutral background layout. I also particularly like the attention that's been given to typography.

Often typography forms an integral part of an interface. Here we have a shot from an intriguing typographical approach to the alphabet. I love the illustrative style and use of colour.

A solid icon design for an iPhone app. I like the adherence to detail, such as the notches beside the slider. It would have been nice, however, to have more detail on the vinyl itself.

A simply gorgeous interface design for a studio app made for the iPad. I love the use of colour and the detail on all of the controls. The depth of detail makes for a truly astounding quality of user experience.
Posted in Interface → iPad AppAn absolutely gorgeous honey icon for an iPhone app. I love the illustrative style and the simply delicious use of detail and colour. The presentation of the icon is great, on wooden boards with a drip of honey and a bee in the background.

A beautifully detailed shot of an element for an upcoming iOS app. I absolutely love the use of texture and attention to detail that has been paid to the design. The antique colours work in harmony here to create a particular feel.

A brilliantly coherent and outstanding visual identity for a designer. I love the use of yellow as a focal colour, it helps to keep costs down while retaining memorability. The design for the CD case is great, the tiny details are a really nice touch.

A good example of a stamp-style logo, in this instance for a brewing company. The use of a ribbon for the company name is really effective and helps it to stand out above the rest of the logo. I like the circular nature of the logo and the stag, but the white border gets a little clumsy around the antlers.

This design and development company utilises a rather interesting user interface to engage visitors to the site. The content is laid out in a horizontal slideshow for which you can, if you like, use your arrow keys. I like the overall simplicity of the idea, although using your arrow keys is perhaps a little gimmicky.

A simple but easily recognisable logo that makes effective use of the single colour approach by using yellow on black. I particularly like the incorporation of statistical bars into the design of the 'G'.
