A nice dark site with a simple centered layout and clean modern typography. The page presents the necessary information in an organized and logical fashion by breaking it up into three primary piece styled into rounded corner rectangles.

Bad Blood
A nice looking site with a light noisy background and sketchy fonts. The jQuery slider is multidimensional and not only slides up and down to change content but can also change the large preview within each section. A great way to fit tons of content right on the homepage.

WebINK is yet another service for using better fonts on the web. Ironically enough, I think the typography could use a little work on the page but the overall design is attractive and well organized.

Kaleidoscope App
This page is simply a beautiful piece of web design and is one of my all time favorites. The page is broken up into individually designed sections to show off the apps features. Each section has a unique and attractive theme. There are subtle touches throughout that are simply superb. Be sure to keep an eye on the logo at the top!

A nice clean design with large bold typography and a few solid attention grabbers. Nice touches include the ten million bubble in the headline and strong grid layout.

Pete Lacey is moving to Copenhagen and created this site to help him land a job. I love the unique layout with the three columns and large photographic area. I also like the selective use of color scattered around the page.

An excellent design featuring a bright yellow background and realistic sliders. I love how big everything is, especially the download and preview buttons near the bottom.

PhoneGap
PhoneGap is an open source framework for mobile apps. The site features a lot of great bits of design. The dark gray background with the square is nice, the icons are excellent and there is a seamless flow between a two and three column layout.

Druck Deine Diplomarbeit
A really great looking site with clean lines, nice typography and excellent icon design. The treatment of the headline is particularly nice along with the large footer that contrasts heavily with the rest of the page.

This is a neat portfolio site where you flip through a book to see the past work of the agency. The wooden background is a nice implementation of texture, the UI is great and the site is just fun to play with!

A really nice page design with tons of content but plenty of visual variation as you scroll down the page. The navigation area is very attractive and the colors used throughout the page are perfect.

A beautifully clean design utilizing a lot of contrast to draw you in. I love the dot pattern and vignette on the main image as well as the huge appstore button.

Ten18 Photography
A really nice photography portfolio design. The images at the top have an accordion-like animation when you hover over them. I like the dark theme and noisy background, which goes really well with the minimal button style containing a single pixel stroke and slightly transparent fill.

A web design blog featuring usability-focused video tutorials. The light color scheme is nice and easy on the eyes, and the layout is a good implementation of attractive minimalism.

This site features a nice minimalist design theme. The homepage has little else than a vertical navigation area and a logo. The portfolio design shown above uses a simple grid and contains various sorting features. I like the typography on the site as well as the mild color scheme.

Theme Exchange is a a new site featuring and selling Magento themes. The design is nice and simple with four rounded-corner containment boxes for the content. The layout is super clean and uses bright colors to pull your attention to all the right places.

A bizarre looking site with silly illustrations of various squatty little monsters. Apart from the fun illustrations, I like the textured background, smooth curves, and relatively simple layout.

A stock art site with an illustrated storefront theme that is quite simple but works well. The layout could be a little stronger but the colors are nice and the page showcases the products effectively.
