These coasters are rather gorgeous design pieces aimed at promoting the Insites tour, a series of design-focussed talks and discussions across the UK. I love the use of colour here and the perfection with which these have been printed.

Little Light Teal Menu
A nice example of clean interface design. I particularly like the icons and contrast between the menu itself and the background. The typeface is effortlessly easy to read, which helps to make the site accessible.

Battlepath
A jaw-droppingly gorgeous design for a game icon. I love the fantastic detail on the sword itself and the lighting effects. Even the map and trial look simply great!

Baird
An awesome business card design that has space for the designer to write on his Facebook, Skype, or mobile number as he sees fit - in his best designer handwriting. It's a nice personal touch, and the cards look stunning too!

A strong redesign of the Dribbble icon itself. I'm fascinated by the interesting deployment of textures here! The pink colour is striking, particularly on the grey background.

Island Creek Oyster Bar
I love this site for an oyster bar, the imaginative layout really appeals to me. I like the care put into the design and powerful use of typography. All of the functionality that you could want is there, but arranged in a unique and engaging way.

A bold and striking site for a creative studio. The use of flat colours and sharp lines makes an immediate impact. The layout encourages immersion in the typography and design of the site.

A solid icon design for an iPhone app. I like the adherence to detail, such as the notches beside the slider. It would have been nice, however, to have more detail on the vinyl itself.

A rather retro logo that makes great use of the entire wheel of colours. I like the consistent design, the typeface fits perfectly into the retro design of the logo.

A simply excellent site for a web, UI and brand designer. I love the clean design and neutral background, it really allows the design to take centre stage. The large slider is striking, and I particularly like the design of the icons and buttons throughout the site.

Volunteer Louisiana
A simply gorgeous site for a volunteering charity for Louisiana. I really like the combination of photographic elements with graphic design. My one complaint is that the static header is quite large and obscures a significant proportion of the content proper.
