A solid portfolio site for web designer that makes a strong impact. I like the clear description in the header and the textured background used. The gallery section uses a well worn but effective concept, showing a selection of designs on an iMac.

A brilliant logo that makes use of a more unique colour palette. Tumble Tees is a Youth-run screenprinting shop located in Downtown Phoenix that provides creative opportunites and vocational training for homeless and at-risk youth.

An intriguing design site that allows you to showcase your work and get feedback from the community. I like some of the touted features, the ability to tag a section of a design with a comment is a particular favourite.

iA Writer Icon
A fascinating updated logo for iA Writer, a minimal writing app for iOS. I like the simplicity of it and the clean use of texture. I do, however, think that it's not the clearest possible icon for the app - the addition of at least one letter (A) before the cursor could clear everything up.

A brutally minimal site for an iOS, web, and print designer. The complete lack of colour is an interesting characteristic to choose, the monochrome design makes a statement. I like the simple design of the graphics and the attention to typography.

A great logotype that immediately makes an impact. I love the use of colour and the style of the illustration. The typeface for 'surfer' is particularly unique and angular.

A great site for a design and branding agency. I love the huge focal slider and the sheer amount of design available to the passing visitor. The way scrolling down the site leads you further into the portfolio of the agency works very well.

A absolutely delicious interface design for a DJ app made for the iPad. I love the attention to detail and the use of colour, you just want to get your hands on it! The buttons look so tactile, it really adds a great deal to the user experience.

Babees Honey
A gorgeous example of a branding exercise for organic honey. I love the bee-like stripes on all of the pots, and the wing-like labels. The typeface and use of colour here works very well to create strong brand recognition.
