A great web app for the American University Cairo's Student Portal. I love the use of bright and vibrant colours. The interface is supremely intuitive and makes great use of bold icons and shapes.

A fascinating portfolio site for a photographer and web designer. I find the use of green and yellow an interesting combination. The cutout effect on the separate grids works well to add some character to a standard gallery format.

A fascinating concept for a mirror that monitors your health. The mirror itself is the user interface, I like the simplicity of it. The small module at the top of the mirror is great, I like the curvature and organic shape.

A clean and minimal site for a web and graphic designer. The gallery section is effective, while the subtle background colours help to allow the work to make an impact. The purpose of the site is immediately identifiable, which is vital.

A fascinating site for a web designer and illustrator that's sure to divide opinion. The layout is intriguing but doesn't make good use of the screen real estate, I'm not convinced. The illustrations, however, are great at making an impact and holding the attention of visitors.

A simple but beautiful piece of interface design work here. I really like the gorgeous use of colour in this icon, while the realism achieved is impressive. The attention to detail is what really makes these icons.

Imitation In Web Design
A fascinating design centred page that brings up some important points for the web design industry. I really like the overall style of the site and the quirky graphic illustrations. The colours work really well and show a clear knack for good design, the content is calm and accurately portrays the feeling of losing a design to unscrupulous designers (?).
