An incredibly vibrant and colourful site for a graphic designer. It makes an immediate statement about the personality of the designer and the style of his work. I love the simple and clean design of the portfolio gallery, it works well in contrast to the rest of the site.

An interesting concept for an iPhone 4 case that mimics the shape of a point and shoot camera. Its intention is to change the way you interact with your iPhone, a fascinating idea. I particularly like the design of the white case but find the addition of straps a little clumsy.

A striking site for a user interface and front-end developer. The large slider makes an immediate impact and immerses any visitors into the work of the designer. I like the restrained use of text, such as the bullet point list, as it helps a visitor to grasp the point of the site quickly.

Here we have a crystal-inspired pop-up invitation and an intricately folded poster look book for a women's wear collection by Jade Sarita Arnott. The use of unique paper design immediately changes the way we interact with the material. The way the poster look book unfolds causes the recipient to engage rather than switch off.

A fascinating design for a clutch bag. It's made from a single piece of two dimensional structure, constructed of triangular segments which can be folded like origami. The concept is intriguing, although it remains to be seen whether it can take off as a fashion item.

A fascinating site for a graphic/web designer. It manages to make you genuinely feel like he's sitting right in front of you. I like the simplicity of the site although some of the sporadic aspects, the 'Like' box for example, can make it feel a little messy.

An absolutely fascinating design for a washing machine that's controlled by a computer running on Android. The overall design is incredibly futuristic and edgy, but I love it! The use of coloured sections and detailing looks just great, while the Android panel and remote control concept is really interesting.

A brilliant interactive catalogue for a supermarket. The touchscreen layout is intuitive and makes great use of colour to differentiate between different sections of the supermarket. I'd love to play with it and see what the animation effects are like. The weighting and dynamics of the appearing categories could make or break this design.

An absurdly restrained and minimal site for a digital marketing company. I like the choice that was made to have the homepage kept as simple as possible, you can immediately see what the company does and then click through for more information.

A absolutely stunning concept for a sports band that integrates with the Nike+ system. I love the colour and variety in the other potential designs, although the orange and black one does it for me! The incorporation of the USB memory is an ingenious idea that purely enhances the user experience.

A simple but stylish logo for a flour mill. The use of a monochrome colour palette makes it incredibly versatile and able to be used in a multitude of different situations. Often the simple approach is the most effective, and I think that's certainly the case here.
