A drastically simple logo mark that's solely focused on a single letter. I like the interesting shape of the type and the recessed setting. The faint circles that surround the mark could work more effectively if they were slightly more noticeable.

A relatively functional site for a web designer that uses a rather nifty gallery structure. I like the character of the site, the ideas of the designer come across very clearly. It also makes it very simple to view particular portfolio designs.
Posted in Web Design → DesignAn interesting take on the Facebook 'Like' button that displays a clear sense of style. The colour palette works really well to give this element character. It could be even better if the different elements were fused together in a more realistic setting.

An almost ridiculously basic site that serves as a homepage for an actor. The bonus of having a site this plain is that the navigation is clear, as are the contact details. I rather like the simple nature of the single still photograph, it actually helps this site to stick in your mind.

Swiss Style Resume Set projects a modern and trendy look & feel with a minimalist approach. This set includes a Resume, Cover Letter & Resume.
Posted in Branding → LetterheadA great restaurant icon for an iPhone app that uses some classic imagery to convey its purpose. I like the use of a checked tablecloth and the detail in the design, although the perspective seems slightly off.

A solid example of personal branding that uses the designers initials to create a new shape. The colours and simple concept help to make this design work in a variety of different situations and settings.

A simple but perfectly apt site for a web designer that makes great use of a single colour to highlight important elements. I actually quite like the footer, and the mini gallery of featured stock files that resides there.

A simply but effective logo that makes a statement using a bright red background. I particularly like the curvature of the typography and the even spacing.

I have included this site almost entirely because of the leading slider. I really like the effect create by the photographic slideshow, particularly the way each one dissolves into focus.

A great example of a crisp interface element. I really like the sense of perspective and the use of texture to add depth to the design. The green works well to highlight the nature of the button.

A great example of some really clean switches. Clean and crisp design can make a real impact when the subtle details come together. I really like the gentle use of textures and colours to add depth to the design - I'd love to see w whole UI set!

A fascinating typeface that could be perfect for a logo. It lacks clarity, but that's part of the charm. The details help to make this design stand out, and I particularly like the stylistic touches.

A gorgeous and dramatic site for a collaborative photography project. Altered Landscape is a project where photographers can share their personal vision of landscapes altered by human. The minimal layout and entirely restrained use of colour makes for a stunning site.
Posted in Web Design → PhotographyAn interesting concept for an alternative Twitter icon that makes great use of texture. The knitted bird works well to make you look again, although it's certainly not a direction Twitter themselves would ever go.

A gorgeous logo that makes an impact through its stark simplicity. The shading gives the concept great depth, allowing the coils to look truly coiled. There is also something very appealing about the blue colour used and the thickness of the white lines that make up the design, it just works!
