This UI Kit contains a collection of retro elements that you can use to build your website template. Green is the major color in this kit but you change the colors instantly because it is a well organized and well named psd template.

I simply love the use of light to indicate the potential of this knob. This metal texture has been overused, but the attention to detail helps make up for it.

This approach to texture is pretty heavy-handed but it certainly makes a strong impact. The use of bright colours and wood textures gives these buttons a dramatic look.

A useful little .PSD if you wish to experiment with a gallery on your website. I particularly like the Selected state, it would be a nice touch for any gallery.

A nifty little App Store button for your App’s website. I like the faded icons in the background and the use of green, it makes a different impression than most other App Store buttons.

An excellent icon for an iPhone app that helps to keep track of your luggage. I love the radar concept and the way the details help give the icon, and the app, character.

A superb example of an iPhone UI that uses physical textures to engage your eyes. I love the details and the satisfying curvature of the tab bar. The icons help to take the design up another level.

A beautiful example of an interface element, an analog control to be precise. I particularly like the attention to detail and use of lighting ideas. There's a certain perspective that helps to add depth and presence to the design.
Posted in Interface → ElementA great restaurant icon for an iPhone app that uses some classic imagery to convey its purpose. I like the use of a checked tablecloth and the detail in the design, although the perspective seems slightly off.

A good example of a unique interface element that would help to set apart a bespoke interface. I really like the way the brown works with the blue used here, and the subtle texture on the loading bar itself.

A simple gorgeous design for a malaria infographic. It has been designed to be interactive on tablets such as the iPad, something that will help people engage with the problem. I really like the illustrative style and implementation of interactive elements.

A brilliant camera icon for an iPhone app or the like. I love the use of textures here, they make an incredible impact. It's interesting that the designer has moved away from reality and more towards making something tactile and unique.
Posted in Interface → iPhone AppA striking design for an iPhone app icon! I love the textures here, they immediately engage with your eyes. Grass is a powerful texture, it works well in combination with the straightforward type of the mud 'M'.

A beautifully futuristic DJ interface that works by creating a virtual environment on a multi touch light table. I love the use of colour and how personal this interface could be. The success of this concept would entirely depend on the intuitive arrangement and design of the controls.

A fascinating example of site navigation. The pagination used here fundamentally changes the way you interact with the interface. I love the way the boxes are highlighted in red, it has to be tried to be understood.

This design and development company utilises a rather interesting user interface to engage visitors to the site. The content is laid out in a horizontal slideshow for which you can, if you like, use your arrow keys. I like the overall simplicity of the idea, although using your arrow keys is perhaps a little gimmicky.

A stunning looking weather App that aims to make full use of the crystal clear iPad screen. The use of huge HD photographs is effective but a little over the top while the actual forecast looks a little subdued at the bottom of the screen. Overall, a great interface that needs a few little tweaks.
