An extremely stylish portfolio site. It exemplifies great use of space and a neutral palette. Of particular note is the use of a large portrait as the focal point, something which I find really works!

Froot
An attractive magazine style site that draws together interesting things from across the web. The central logo is extremely effective at grabbing your attention and I love the fruit theme. I also particularly like the use of large thumbnail links and how attractive they make the site.

Acrobits
A clean and bright corporate site for a mobile solutions company. The use of space is great and naturally brings your eyes to the important information. I like the simple but effective logo and the subtle use of fading to add interest to the site.

Sander Wapstra
A relatively simple site that uses its typefaces and layout to draw you in. The designers initial in the to left is great but could be larger while there is a certain lack of colour. I do really like the custom designed Twitter icon however.

1st Stop Claims Company
While this design doesn\'t push the boundaries and sticks with a fairly standard formula it\'s worth noting the high quality of photograph used. The body illustration on the right is an interesting touch.

Spreadt
The handmade paper look of this site works well with the use of a custom typeface. I like the torn paper effect and use of light blue and pink to highlight the key headings. I also find the use of punctuation in the logo helps to make the company name recognisable.

Codehero
A site that needs using to fully understand the design - with each section coming to life as your scroll over it. I love the contrast of the blue and red with the black and grey of the rest of the site.

Brokedesign
An outstanding design portfolio site. Immediately draws your attention to the dramatic design in the centre and leads you to enquire further. The use of polaroids as thumbnails is great and I also like the contrast of the bright primary colours with the black and white interface of the site.

AppAdvice
AppAdvice provides you with all the latest information regarding the App Store and does so using an excellently built interface. The custom icons are great and the use of coloured App icons really brings the App to life.

Stan the Snowman
A great looking post card site. The images have a delightful hand-drawn feel and really grab your attention. One design element that really appeals to me is the use of custom drawn Facebook and Twitter badges.

A brilliant layout for a photography site that uses a relatively dark brown palette which draws attention to the photographs. I particularly like the space given to the header.

Tumblr (iPhone)
The Tumblr App for iPhone is a simple and straightforward way to manage your site on the go and its interface is perfect for just that. Its iPhone consistent UI is great and the use of only three tabs further increases its usability.

Squarespace for the iPhone has an undeniably stylish interface that uses custom icons to great success! I particularly like the consistent use of white, greys, and black throughout the App.

This site has a clear three column layout and uses colours very effectively in order to draw your attention to its icon and button packages. I like that the Picto Foundry site gradually guides you down the page as it goes into more detail about its packages.

A ridiculously minimalistic site with a centred logo and a clear description of the company. The logo is a great focal point and the simple layout guides users straight to the portfolio and testimonials.

Ally Creative
A very stylish site with an intuitive layout. The \'Ally\' logo is a great piece of design while the ever-changing central picture holds your attention. I particularly like how the large amount of empty space surrounding the header allows your attention to be drawn to the focal point of the site.

Homepage Helden
A clear and stylish corporate web design with excellent custom icons and an animated header. I like the clean layout of the site and its colour swatch. The animated white dots (while essentially superfluous) are a nice detail.

Sir Chesterfield
This furniture site is minimal but extremely effective. The custom typeface is perfectly fitting for the company while the dark background adds an element of class to the whole site. I particularly like the high quality photographs of the sofas.
