A clean and clear website for a design site. The minimalist approach is effective and allows your attention to be drawn towards examples of the companies design work. The logo is recognisable and makes a statement and the sparse use of colour works really well.

A good portfolio site that utilises a scrolling central display. The use of a photograph of the designer in the background is effective and makes a good statement. I particularly like the bold typeface and use of text throughout the site.

iBooks for iPad is a stunning application that looks simply gorgeous! The bookshelf design is brilliant and makes the entire concept of reading on your iPad supremely enticing. I particularly love the design and layout of the books themselves - the classic paper feel and beautiful typefaces make for an awesome reading experience!

A brilliant personal business card design. The large black graphic makes a stunning impact when used against the plain white background. I particularly like the placement of the vital information along the bottom of the card in a light grey colour - it just looks so stylish!

The designer whose site this is purports to make websites that \'function\' & \'sparkle\' and this one certainly does! The bold focal graphic and luxurious use of space combine and make it a joy to look around. I particularly like the way the site gradually draws you down the page.

An example of effective use of a photograph in business card design. The framing of the photo is perfect for using in the background as are the dark colours - Pada Murre clearly stands out! I particularly like the simple nature of the back of the card which allows easy access to the important information.

A web design site with great potential. The Elegant Seagulls logo is beautiful and stands out from the rest of the site due to its hand-drawn nature. I particularly like the simple use of a border to frame the site and the typefaces used throughout.

Relatively simple but extremely effective packaging for a CD. I love the use of just two colours throughout and the consistent graphical style. The continuation of the design onto the CD itself is excellent and shows great attention to detail.

You expect design portfolios to be good and this is no exception. The bold use of text and colour makes for a friendly and welcoming site that urges you to read on! I\'m not a huge fan of the background colour but the beautiful typefaces used throughout more than make up for it.

A simple but nonetheless effective design for a business card. I\'m fascinated by the text, especially the typeface, and like the way it has been used in repetition to create a pattern. The light colours are complementary and allow the important information to be clear in a dark grey.

It\'s interesting how the designer has chosen to have the front of this card look quite dramatically different to the back. The use of a simple design on the back keeps the information clear, while the colourful illustration on the front makes a positive statement.

A stylish card for a hotel business. The colour palette is great, while the incorporation of natural design elements makes an immediate impression. I particularly like how the colours have been inverted on the back of the card.

A brash and bold logo that effectively uses a single colour to make a statement. The typeface is interesting, if potentially a little difficult to read. As a logo for a candle company I appreciate the flame design that\'s been incorporated and find that it helps to make the trademark recognisable.

A stylish business card featuring a three colour design. The use of neutrals is good but adding a colour could further make an impact! I particularly like the repetitive use of the logo on the front of the card to create a textural design.
