A clean and clear website for a design site. The minimalist approach is effective and allows your attention to be drawn towards examples of the companies design work. The logo is recognisable and makes a statement and the sparse use of colour works really well.

A well designed interface that helps you organise your business. Specifically designed for students it sports a clean and clear interface. I particularly like the calendar feel and clear typeface used throughout.

Web Effectual
You expect design portfolios to be good and this is no exception. The bold use of text and colour makes for a friendly and welcoming site that urges you to read on! I\'m not a huge fan of the background colour but the beautiful typefaces used throughout more than make up for it.

Good use of orange against a neutral background here. The layout of the site makes it easy to navigate while the tape player adds interest. I like the box that slides through various tracks that were produced and/or mixed by Tim Palmer.

Billy\'s Downtown Diner
A brilliant restaurant site with an active header that brings the street to life. The way the menu bar and logo use perspective to jump out at you is great! I also particularly like the use of colour set against a desaturated background.

The first thing that hits you when this site appears is the header, it\'s fantastic! The kooky custom typeface and the wood effect works really well and instantly intrigues the visitor. I also particularly like the border between the header and body of the site although the company\'s purpose could be made clearer...

An attractive magazine style site that draws together interesting things from across the web. The central logo is extremely effective at grabbing your attention and I love the fruit theme. I also particularly like the use of large thumbnail links and how attractive they make the site.

A clean and bright corporate site for a mobile solutions company. The use of space is great and naturally brings your eyes to the important information. I like the simple but effective logo and the subtle use of fading to add interest to the site.

While this design doesn\'t push the boundaries and sticks with a fairly standard formula it\'s worth noting the high quality of photograph used. The body illustration on the right is an interesting touch.

A site that needs using to fully understand the design - with each section coming to life as your scroll over it. I love the contrast of the blue and red with the black and grey of the rest of the site.

An outstanding design portfolio site. Immediately draws your attention to the dramatic design in the centre and leads you to enquire further. The use of polaroids as thumbnails is great and I also like the contrast of the bright primary colours with the black and white interface of the site.

A great looking post card site. The images have a delightful hand-drawn feel and really grab your attention. One design element that really appeals to me is the use of custom drawn Facebook and Twitter badges.
