An immediately intriguing site for a graphic and web designer from Columbia. The colour palette works extremely effectively, I love the blend of neutrals and colours. I particularly like the gallery here, it allows you to focus on one project at a time as you scroll across the page.

A stylish and different portfolio site for an interactive designer. I like the bold use of a single focal image that introduces the designer. The gallery section works well within the flow of the site, you are gradually drawn down the page.

A well thought out and decidedly pretty site for a mobile App developer. The layout is intuitive and the site guides you down the page rather than leaving you to figure it out for yourself. I particularly like the attention to detail and little hand-drawn touches.

An immediately striking site that aims to capture the delightful bliss of working with this particular digital agency! The huge background photograph works brilliantly and perfectly suits the company name and philosophy. I also particularly like the simplicity of the logo!

An immediately intriguing site for a vinyl record shop based in Long Beach. The illustrations work well to hold a visitors attention although there\'s a lot more that could be done with vinyl art. I like the use of typeface and division of the background!

An awesome and immediately striking site for a solo web developer and designer! I love the slogan and the effective use of text in the header. The use of a single highlight colour works really well here, the yellow details help to hold a visitor\'s attention without bombarding them.

A whole site devoted to a boat! The map based background adds interest while the fundamental content is easily readable and contained with the central boxes. I like the straightforward use of a header for all navigation purposes.

A straightforward but undeniably effective portfolio for a web designer. The intuitive header is good and I like the size and readability of the main typeface. The coffee mug and cookie design is a nice touch and adds interest to the focal area of the site.
Posted in Web Design → PortfolioA sharp design that draws the visitor in with friendly illustration. I like the clarity in the text and how quickly you are led to the important information. I particularly like the unique illustrations of the designers!

A ridiculously minimalistic site with a centred logo and a clear description of the company. The logo is a great focal point and the simple layout guides users straight to the portfolio and testimonials.

A nice looking site with plenty of textures and bright colors. The content has been kept simple and reads very well. I especially like the large, attention grabbing button.

This site builds a selection of books for you instantly as you type in a query. The design is very much like that of the Apple iBooks interface with a nice wooden bookshelf that displays cover art, often with a Kindle peeking out from behind the book.

A nice looking corporate theme that plays it safe by using a very typical but also very functional layout. The thick color bar works well and highlights the jQuery slider perfectly.

A nice looking site with an interesting mixture of structured and organic design. There is an overall theme revolving around a jagged squiggly line graphic that is repeated in different ways throughout the page.

This simple but stunning web page uses high contrast graphics and deep colors to grab your attention. The hot air balloon is a nice touch and I love that big headline with heavily recessed type.

A nice looking site that is oddly enough all about ugly websites. The design is fairly simple but the color scheme is quite nice and the photography used in the slideshow is humorously appropriate.

Normally I hate car company websites but this one features a really sharp design that is completely clutter free and quite modern looking. The large photos really speak volumes about the products and grab your attentions and the bold red pulls you down to where there is more information.

This is an extremely attractive site when you view it in its entirety. The architecture theme is masterfully done and I love the use of bright colors mixed with an otherwise dully gray theme.

A really nice freelance design portfolio with a solid layout and some fun illustrations. I really appreciate how well thought the entire page is from top to bottom. The area above the footer is just as nice as the header.

This site features an excellently original design with a Photoshop empty canvas stretched into a 3D environment. I love the visual communication here. You do not need a single word to see that the site is for a female designer who is a little on the goofy side.
