La Masa Mimatta

It is not often that we feature a restaurant website but this one is quite attractive. The retro circus theme is flawlessly carried out across the textures, colors, artwork and typography on the page. Great idea, awesome execution.

WeGraphics

WeGrahics is a great looking site that offers subscription-based visual resources for designers. From the navigation icons to the letterpress effect in on even the small text in the footer, there is a lot of attention to detail displayed throughout this design.

Aint Rocket Science

This is a crazy looking site that is a wonderful mix or random and structured. I really like the unique way in which they showcase their work.

Foundation Six

A beautiful site that uses a typical but stylish 3D web page layout, subtle background textures and rich colors. They typography throughout the page is particularly well done. Notice the mixture of thick almost western serifs with thin condensed sans-serif type.

Bulls+Arrows

A beautiful site with a well-executed space theme, large attractive graphics and photos, and attractive typography. From top to bottom this is just a great looking site that perfectly nails the aesthetic for the target market.

Cafundo Estudio

This is one crazy site concept. There is a giant rooster head, some Tim Burton-esque 3D typography, apstract tentacle shapes, vertical lines and star bursts. From just reading that description you would picture a hideous site but it actually looks great! Nice work.

Dawn of Man

A really simple site design overall but the work on display here is quite superb. The artwork combined with the typography remind me a lot of some of the magazine work you saw throughout the early to mid 90s.

A Feed Apart

A Feed Apart is a twitter feed for all things related to the Event Apart event in Boston. I love the classy design of the page. The insets and shadows give a lot of three dimensional depthe to the design and the color scheme is spot on.

PixMac

A nice clean design with large bold typography and a few solid attention grabbers. Nice touches include the ten million bubble in the headline and strong grid layout.

Think Vitamin Membership

A nice looking page with a vintage feel and fun illustrations. I especially like the textured background and rounded buttons.

Wrkborn

A nice looking dark theme with a big image slider to grab your attention. I like the textured background, dotted lines, thin typography and bright artwork displayed against the black.

Its Workable

This site follows the typical corporate web service layout we have seen so much lately, but it pulls it off nicely. I like the colors, large screenshots and simple navigation area. The large sign up button is no doubt a winner for snagging conversions.

Interexpresso

This site features rich textures an excellent color scheme and great icon design. I also really like the unique shape of the buttons used as well as the large navigation area.

Ed Nacional

A very simple but attractive design that contains some nice subtle graphical flavor. I love the single pixel line and the connected flag on the left side of the page, the header that stays with you as you scroll and the unexpected flash of bright orange when you hover over a link.

Casino Lemonade

This site features a beautiful retro design with an attention to detail that blows me away. All the borders and background art are really intricate and eye-catching, the typography is spot on, and the character art is excellent. Definitely one of the more successfully unique designs I have seen in a while!

Hardboiled Web Design

A new book from the author of "Five Simple Steps." This site features a nice spotlight effect on a dark wood background. The color choices on the large text are particularly nice.
