Darwin is a simple to use responsive WordPress theme, it can be used for almost any purpose: blog, business, portfolio, magazine. I like the clean design of this theme and the effortless way it responds to the users browser.

Typolipo

A beautiful theme that lends itself perfectly to a news site, blog, or magazine. I love the use of typography throughout and the intuitive layout.

Bayou Magazine

A simple but effective logo that uses perspective to make a memorable statement. The colour chosen is great and really stands out on white! I particularly like the custom typeface and texture based detail.

iMags

An effective, if unoriginal, design for an iPad magazine app. The bookshelf effect is at least a coherent and clean way to display the content. The impact is visually impressive, the covers really grab your attention.

Cache

A great logo for a magazine that is immediately striking. I like the attention to detail in the logotype and subtle textured effect. I particularly like that it is in cursive lowercase.

GUIDANCE

A beautiful example of physical print design for the latest contemporary dance festival hosted at the CCVF Guimarães. I love the vibrant use of colour and attention paid to typeface. The layout and key design elements can significantly alter the way we interact with magazines and journals.

Log Magazine

A gorgeous looking iPad App for Log Magazine. I love the iPad implementation here and the effective use of the touchscreen. There are some fascinating ideas here for magazine navigation on a touchscreen device.

Time Magazine for iPad

Time Magazine for iPad looks simply gorgeous! Browsing through stories and articles is effortlessly enjoyable, the App manages to enhance the experience over reading the paper version. I particularly like that you can still get the exact front cover, it gives a great sense of authenticity.

Empire for iPhone

A sleek and classy iPhone App that features all the movie reviews from Empire magazine. I love the cinematic feel of the App and use of darkened red curtain as it opens! The app is intuitive throughout and makes good use of tabs and a clear searching system.

Froot

An attractive magazine style site that draws together interesting things from across the web. The central logo is extremely effective at grabbing your attention and I love the fruit theme. I also particularly like the use of large thumbnail links and how attractive they make the site.

Dawn of Man

A really simple site design overall but the work on display here is quite superb. The artwork combined with the typography remind me a lot of some of the magazine work you saw throughout the early to mid 90s.
