A stripped back portfolio site for a web designer. The simple content layout is great, as is the interesting use of a yellow strip for the header! I love the way each project fades to colour as you scroll over it!

A simple portfolio site that makes good use of a monochrome palette. While it would benefit from the use of some colour in the header the monochrome approach helps to make the portfolio catch your eye! I also like the hand drawn feel behind the site.

As a designer it\'s vital to showcase your work and design philosophy to any prospective clients and this is achieved here using a gallery of James\' recent work. I like the subtlety of the dark grey text on the light grey background. It\'s not something that immediately makes sense, but that works perfectly to allow the colourful designs to grab your attention.
