The perfect site for a knitware company, I really like the header bar and the use of textures throughout. The photography also helps the site to give a great impression.

Gift Rocket

A fantastic site for a company that sells gift cards. I simply adore the illustrative style and use of bold and striking icons. The concept is neatly and concisely explained, something that is often sorely missing.

HTML5 Demo

A great site that's designed to illustrate some aspects of HTML5 that may have gone under the radar. I really like the colourful theme and use of typography throughout.

NodeBeat

A gorgeous site for a unique and playful music creation application for the iPhone and iPad. I love the animated background and the vibrant use of colour. The purpose of the site is clear and it makes good use of the text it employs.

Philip Moore

A stylish and clean portfolio site for a professional designer. I like the simple illustration and the intriguing and offbeat gallery design. The dark footer perfectly complements the neutral palette of the site.

Picons

A stripped back yet gorgeous site for royalty-free vector icons for designers. I love that the background is kept simple in order to give the icon design centre stage! I particularly like the typefaces used and choice of colours for the icon sets.

X Producciones Gráficas

A striking site for a Bolivian graphic design company. The large slideshow of graphic ideas is excellent for grabbing the attention of any prospective clients! I particularly like the lack of excessive text on the homepage. It\'s clear what they do and you can find more information if you so wish!

Social Xperiments

A slightly clumsy yet intriguing site for a social experiment. The use of illustrations throughout is good and works well to keep a visitor reading! The simple colours are great but the layout isn\'t very clear and could benefit from some more tweaking!

NihongoUp

This site is a great example of clean, corporate design that also happens to looks really nice. Note the heavy use of thin lines for content separation. The illustration is also very well done and really provides a great focal point.

Alexandra Palace

This site uses an interesting layered photo effect that is both busy and attractive. The colors have been selectively applied, most of the site is black and white with a few bright colors applied in the three supporting photos near the bottom.

Outmarked

This site features some beautiful typographical artwork that has a cool depth of field illusion. Notice how heavily the designer uses contrast to grab your attention in both the header, main image, and dark inset type.

Sheena Oosten

A beautiful site with big, bold graphics that really scream for attention. I love the giant floating slideshow with its harsh shadow and the clean three column layout for the info beneath it.

DeployCMS

An excellent mix of colors and texture to create a clasy sort of aged look. I love the typography and the sign elements. The layout is also right on and utilizes plenty of whitespace.

Made By Creature

Made by Creature is a really attractive web page that uses bold colors and attention grabbing images. The logo is a really nice piece of design and the slab typography on the page really fits the overall theme.
