A clean and clear site for an online time tracker. I like the consistent use of colour and intuitive layout of the page. The adjustment of social icons to fit the colour scheme of the site is an interesting touch.

This site is made by its vibrant and colourful gallery. It immediately draws you in and almost urges you to browse! I actually quite like the simple animations of the logo, although I imagine it would get annoying after a while.

This a clear example of well executed minimalism. I absolutely love the restrained approach, it doesn't bombard your visitors but rather coaxes them to investigate further. The simple link animations work brilliantly as the only 'active' part of this site.

I really like the colour palette used here, particularly the use of colour in the header section of the site. The vibrant wave-like logo is striking and makes a strong statement. I also like the use of graphic illustrations throughout the site, they add some great colour and interest.

A vibrant and instantly striking site for an entertainment agency. I really like the consistently colourful design and use of graphic illustrations to contrast with the photography. It's immediately obvious what this company does, one of the key signs of a well designed site.

A clean and functional site for a web and graphic design company. I like that the header section is left purely text. You can immediately get a grasp on what it is the company does. The consistent use of a monochrome colour palette is effective, although a little contrast wouldn't have gone amiss.

A beautifully restrained and minimal site for a wholesale cufflink supplier. It superbly thought out for a corporate site and is an extremely effective web presence for a company like this. The consistent design is great and the colour palette works really well.

A well thought out and decidedly pretty site for a mobile App developer. The layout is intuitive and the site guides you down the page rather than leaving you to figure it out for yourself. I particularly like the attention to detail and little hand-drawn touches.

An absolutely stunning site for Skigo, a company which aims to help support people in the creative industries. I love the minimal design and truly ingenious use of colour! It's rare to find a site that's enjoyable to play with and intriguing to investigate.

A clean and minimal site for a UX & product designer from the Ukraine. I like the simplicity of the header and effective contrast between black and white throughout the site. A gallery of previous work is a great way to add interest and colour to your site.

A beautiful and effortlessly minimal site that allows this designer's work to make an immediate impact. I love the subtle use of colour and restrained use of text. The gallery section really draws you in and gets you straight to the point.

An intriguing site for a designer who focuses on \'typographically sound\' design. It\'s interesting that it\'s so stripped back and minimal and simply includes a shot from his latest project rather than a gallery. I do, however, like the focal slideshow and the beautiful graphical detail on each slide.

An awesome site for professional windsurfer Sean O'Brien. I love the graphic design ideas and how it all fits in a single window with no scrolling! The simple drop down navigation bar is a nice touch, as is the detailing on the logo!

A bright and immediately striking site for a web design agency. The use of yellow as a focal colour works very effectively! The use of typeface really helps to engage visitors, but some of the sizing of the text further down the page, while obviously intended to highlight certain things, is a little distracting.

A clean and intuitive site for a graphic designer and frontend web developer. It\'s a good example of effective selection of typefaces, the name of the site is interesting and made a focal point while the main text is in a more clearly readable typeface. I particularly like the portfolio gallery and the differently sized thumbnails of each project!

Sometimes designing a great interface is more about what you leave out. Simplenote is a superb example of a consistently minimal approach to interface design! It\'s intuitive, clear, and just \'works\'!

An immediately intriguing site for a creative design agency. In this instance I really like the use of a static left sidebar, it allows consistently intuitive navigation of the site. The area of black space on the right seems a little pointless and negatively affects the weighting of the layout. The focal slideshow, however, is great and works hard to hold your attention!

The fascinating personal site of an online entrepreneur! The overall design, of pages on a wood effect background, works well to grab and hold your attention. The use of icons is great and complements the relatively intuitive layout of the site.

A gorgeous looking blog site that\'s just been through a major redesign! I love the brilliant illustrative touches and commitment to a thematic colour palette. The icon design and use of fascinating typefaces works well throughout to keep visitors engaged.

A beautifully subtle site for a letterpress printer and designer. The restrained colour palette really allows the gorgeous photographs of his work to take centre stage! I particularly like the straightforward single column layout, the site effortlessly leads you through the process.
