This site is made by its vibrant and colourful gallery. It immediately draws you in and almost urges you to browse! I actually quite like the simple animations of the logo, although I imagine it would get annoying after a while.

Caffeine Creative

A bright and immediately striking site for a web design agency. The use of yellow as a focal colour works very effectively! The use of typeface really helps to engage visitors, but some of the sizing of the text further down the page, while obviously intended to highlight certain things, is a little distracting.

James Oconnell

The personal portfolio of James O\'Connell features a screen-wide slideshow that makes a great impact. As a designer it\'s vital to showcase your work and design philosophy to any prospective clients and this is achieved here using a gallery of James\' recent work. I like the subtlety of the dark grey text on the light grey background. It\'s not something that immediately makes sense, but that works perfectly to allow the colourful designs to grab your attention.

Keith Cakes

A simple design for a homemade cake company that features mouth-watering photography! The typeface is great and the stripped back design allows your attention to be drawn to the beautiful treats on display.

Tumblr (iPhone)

The Tumblr App for iPhone is a simple and straightforward way to manage your site on the go and its interface is perfect for just that. Its iPhone consistent UI is great and the use of only three tabs further increases its usability.

Kenne Deine Rechte

A nice, clean design with bright pops of color in all the right places. I really like the interesting abstract shapes in the logo. They feel like 3D objects that Picasso created or something. An interesting effect!

Urustar

This site features an excellently executed retro theme that is both fun and gorgeous. I love the use of colors and illustrations combined with the detailed stroke work on the edges.

MadeFreshly

A nice looking site with plenty of textures and bright colors. The content has been kept simple and reads very well. I especially like the large, attention grabbing button.

Mike Dascola

This site is a crazy piece of Photoshop wizardry. Check out the giant beer light bulb or the really unique timeline in the middle. If you are in the market for some really unique inspiration, stop by this site and have a look around.

Fox Law

A nice looking corporate theme that plays it safe by using a very typical but also very functional layout. The thick color bar works well and highlights the jQuery slider perfectly.

Wawa Coffeetopia

The colors and swirly artwork on this site are a perfect visual suggestion of coffee and the photographic elements and textures have been skillfully combined in Photoshop. Overall, it is a nice looking site that feels unique while remaining easy to use.

Juleco Design

A really nice freelance design portfolio with a solid layout and some fun illustrations. I really appreciate how well thought the entire page is from top to bottom. The area above the footer is just as nice as the header.

Zennaware

The large image in the center really steals the show and is a really nice piece of 3D modeling. The rest of the page is very minimal and serves as the perfect setting to highlight the primary graphic.

Wear Wolves

This site features a beautiful black design with a large image slide taking center stage. I love the bright colors, bold uppercase headlines, and running countdown at the top of the screen.

Pete Lacey

Pete Lacey is moving to Copenhagen and created this site to help him land a job. I love the unique layout with the three columns and large photographic area. I also like the selective use of color scattered around the page.

Evan Eckard

A nice dark theme with a fading texture background and mixed typography. I like the unique navigation design and the large work samples.

Its Workable

This site follows the typical corporate web service layout we have seen so much lately, but it pulls it off nicely. I like the colors, large screenshots and simple navigation area. The large sign up button is no doubt a winner for snagging conversions.

Cromulent Design

This site features a bright green background and funny illustrated characters hanging upside down from the top of the screen. If you visit the site, be sure to scroll down to the well designed footer featuring a tree and some Twitter birds.

Hardboiled Web Design

A new book from the author of "Five Simple Steps." This site features a nice spotlight effect on a dark wood background. The color choices on the large text are particularly nice.
