A simply gorgeous redesign of the Skype icon. I love the incorporation of a camera and microphone into the icon. The attention to detail is great, as is the use of Skype's hugely recognisable colours.

Bacardi Mojito
An excellent example of how much impact detail can make in an icon. Simplicity's all good and well, but the visual impact of the colour and detail here is just great. I particularly like the red colour used for the straw, it adds further interest and diversity.

A great example of a twist on a clean user interface style. I really like the concept of worn and damaged switches, it's executed perfectly here. The colouring and detail adds some great depth to the design.

A great interface design that has good iPad app potential. The glowing red dials are striking and hold your attention. I particularly like the use of texture here and the custom typeface employed.

A gorgeous interface shot of an audio application. I love the incorporation of vintage elements and ideas in a modern setting. The detail here is stunning, the buttons and controls are begging to be used!

Registered Users Counter
A gorgeous user interface element that simply counts the number of registered users. I really like the contrast between the dark dial and the white counter. The use of colour on the dial is very effective and adds interest to the overall design.

Alarm Clock
A good example of an interface for an alarm clock. I like the use of varied lighting colours and the curvature of the clock. The large display would look great in place on a bedside table.

A great piece of UI design that comes from the footer of the personal website of Caleb Amesbury. I really like the raised feel of the icons and green highlight colour. The simple tweets section also works well and makes great use of the twitter blue.

A fascinating and gorgeous interface design that makes amazing use of colour. I love the futuristic design elements and beautiful finish. It's striking and immediately makes an impact, the vibrant pink really working with the darker tones.
