Share Buttons

A nice example of what can be done to make your share buttons look a little different. I particularly like the use of texture and the consistency of the three buttons.

Nikon D90 Icon

A beautifully detailed icon for the Nikon D90 that uses colour perfectly. I really like the impact that the lens makes, and the use of textures.

Slider

A good example of a strong UI element. This slider makes an impression with the depth behind the design, the textures and detail. The neutral colours would fit in almost any design.

Indoor Triangulation System

I love the detail evident here, it really helps to make this icon stand out. The intriguing nature of the floor plan and the curvature of the paper add depth and presence to the icon. I like the dramatic way the pin has broken through the paper, and the overall effect.

Social Media Icons

I really like the blocky nature of these social media icons, it's an interesting twist. The textures used add another layer of intrigue to these icon designs.

Lee Kirby Design

A clean and intuitive site for a web designer that features an immediate slider of recent work. I particularly like the use of contrasting backgrounds to give differing emphasis to each area of the site. The custom Twitter icon is a nice touch.

iOS Mail Icon

The iOS mail icon has needed some effort for a while now, this is a gorgeous concept for that very icon. I really like the texture of the paper and the use of the air mail concept.

Playlist Widget

A beautifully designed playlist for the Mac that features excellent use of textures. I really like the incorporation of the thumbnail and the consistent use of colour. The subtle details on the controls really add depth and 'make' the design.

Glider Slider

A simple but beautifully clean interface element that would work well in a variety of situations. I love the detail on the control itself and the subtle shading.

User Profile

A really clean and effective piece of interface design here. I love the 'Available for freelance' section and the accompanying green light. The use of texture is great and really complements the overall design.

Moby Logo

A brilliant and light-hearted logo for an aquatic supplies company. I really like the bright colour palette and jaunty setting. The whale logo works really well, the texture helping to make an impact.

Paul Mitchell Kelly

The perfect site for an interactive designer and graphic artist! I love that it rigidly fits your browser and the beautiful slideshow background. This site just \'works\', it whisks you instantly into the world of Paul Mitchell Kelly!

Google Translate

As you\'d expect from the people at Google their translation App is clean and instantly useable. I really like the simple three tab approach and bright clear menus! The use of icons and buttons is great, my particularly favourite is the red and black \'Speak now\' icon.

Tube Map

An excellent App that\'s perfect for navigating the London tube! The implementation of the official tube line colours is perfect and makes the maps immediately recognisable. The custom icons are great while the bright blue wonderfully livens up the interface!

Delibar

A small but powerful App for using Delicious on your Mac. Delibar\'s consistent incorporation of web icons and carefully designed layout is extremely effective while the textured blue throughout looks great. I particularly like the use of tabs and excellent icon design.

Transmit

Transmit sports an interface that\'s intuitive and looks great. It\'s the best looking FTP client around! The contrast between the two key sections of the interface works really well!

BSA AdPacks

A wonderfully retro design from BuySellAds advertising their new AdPacks program. The artwork really nails the time period they are shooting for and once you start looking at the finer details you can tell that they put a lot of work into the design.

Screenfluent

Screenfluent is a simple but attractive grid-based web design gallery. The header image really grab your attention and the inset image and text areas are a really nice touch.
