A brilliant interface design for an iPhone app that turns your phone into a game controller. It's very pretty, but it's also going to be fully functional! I love how reminiscent it is of the NES controllers.

A simple but effective logo for a christian internship program. I like the effective incorporation of the cross and the interwoven effect the logo creates. The use of a single highlight colour is strong and makes a good statement.

A straightforward but effective portfolio site for a designer. The attention to detail is great, I particularly like the paper aeroplane and little jokes. The gallery section works well, as does the bold and clear header.

An amazing piece of product design that directly feeds into our interaction with our computers. I like the surprising attention to detail and beautiful craftsmanship. The engraving of the word 'gentle' on the mouse wheel is a nice touch.

NFD
A striking and memorable personal logo for a designer. The use of red is really effective at holding your eyes, while the typeface is straightforward but clean nonetheless. I like the concept of a circular badge-like design for a personal logo, it's nicely contained and would work well as a thumbnail.

A simple yet extremely effective site for the iPad App Instagallery. The use of the multicoloured strip really helps to make an impact, while the heading makes it instantly clear where you have landed. I particularly like the colour palette used and split background, it helps to break up the content.

Jay-Z Decoded
An interesting example of iPhone interface design that may divide some designers. Intentionally a little rough around the edges and disorganised this interface makes great use of some interesting typeface work and illustration. I find the lack of typeface consistency fascinating!

This page showcases some really creative design talent and a unique concept. I like the illustrated look of the typography and the giant lightbulb. The bright colors and rich texture also round out the design very nicely.
