Sparrow Rebound

A great, albeit slight, redesign of one of Sparrows potential iOS icons. I love the crisp design of the paper airplane and the cohesion of the overall icon. There are an awful number of blue iOS icons, but Sparrow chose blue and should probably stick with it.

Taskbar Scrolling

A great example of a problem solved with a little interaction design. If you tap and hold the taskbar or the moment you begin to swipe vertically, the taskbar instantly recesses and the apps now drop below the height of the buttons, so they are free to travel under the buttons which gives you infinite room to have active/open apps.

Github Icon

A great icon design for a Github iPhone app. I really like the attention to detail and the crispness of the design, but I'm not sure about the rainbow colours.

6WK Meter

A great analog interface element that uses textures and details to add depth to the design. I like the needle and the complimentary nature of the textures.

Beer

A simply excellent example of an icon that makes a strong impact with its use of detail. I love the bold design of the beer glass and the eye-catching textures of the foam.

Knob Selector

A clean and crisp user interface element that would work in a variety of situations. I like the brushed metal and the way the different textures work together.

Bubbly Icon

A clean icon for an iPhone app that just urges you to tap it. I like the way the shading gives shape and definition to the icon.

I really like the illustrations on these icons and the intriguing colours that the designer has chosen. The little details on the illustrations work beautifully to make an impact.

Education Icons

I love the illustrative style of these icons and the interesting use of a unique colour palette. They all fit together with ease, but are distinct unique from every other icon set.

This iOS interface element is made by the attention this designer has given to texture and detail. I love the way the textures take you back to a simpler time, and the effortless mimicry.

Multistikk

An excellent joystick element for an iPhone game that simply oozes with detail. The crisp lines and touchable textures help to make this joystick work visually, whether it works practically on the iPhone is another matter entirely.

A superbly crafted interface for an iPad app designed to boil down the salient functions of the iPod and repackage it in big-buttoned glory. I really like the textures and crisp nature of the interface.

BQ Login

A solid interface for an iPhone app that uses a cliche wooden texture but still retains a sense of simplicity and clarity. I like the Facebook and Twitter buttons, the colours immediately grab your attention.

Icon Set

Here we have a great set of beautifully crafted icons, displayed in a way that shows how well they work at different sizes. It's great that you can clearly make out the details at the smaller size, I really like the speech bubble design.

A simply beautiful icon for a Japanese internet radio player application designed for Mac OS X. I love the isometric angle of the icon and the present nature of the design, you feel like you're looking at a real object.

A solid icon for an iPhone app that makes good use of textures. I like the wood frame and the attention this designer has given to detail. The purpose of the app isn't entirely clear, but it'd look great on your home screen nonetheless.
